Prithvi Theatre was built by Shashi Kapoor and his wife Jennifer Kapoor, in memory of his father, Prithviraj Kapoor. Legendary Actor Shashi Kapoor passed away at the age of 79 after prolonged illness but now his daughter Sanjana and son Kunal Kapoor take care of this theater.
