Shy Guy dev here! Thank you for taking the time to review him, I'm happy you found him so fun!! Shy Guy was created primarily having a lot of goofy tools that you can't quite get at first in mind. Individually his moves are a little on the weak side, but I was hoping that as time went on, people would find creative ways to utilize his tools together! For instance, dstrong will always get a major momentum boost when coming off of platforms, so you can summon a Magic Carpet at any time to be able to use that boost anywhere you want! Of course, I've always gravitated towards lower-power characters in Smash (unironic Melee Pichu main), so it's not surprising at all that he'd be underpowered regardless. The problem is, I have no idea how or what to change to make him stronger! More damage output? Faster moves? Stronger knockback? I'm not really sure! If you had any other feedback I'd be very happy to hear it! (Thanks so much for adding him to Adam's Picks!!)

Glad to see all the months of hard work didn't go to waste~ It was pretty hard to make the character, from the constant motion of the cape to the in-depth mechanics. I am glad to set a pretty good example for other characters to follow in the Rivals workshop. Hope to do more amazing characters in the future! Especially now that I have to handle Ayala. If anyone sees this who wants to make a custom original character, feel free to ping me and see if I could help out!
Double 9/10, baybeeee It sucks that Valk's perfect gameplay/moveset design is somewhat hampered by my endless war against visual communication. Hopefully she doesn't drop off in the future as better characters come to light.
You should review the original Rivals crew! Sounds silly but I'd like to see if they all get a 10/10 from you using the same logic you use to review custom characters.
My favorite part of making videos is recording a voice over for an hour, only to lose it from my power resetting mid recording. It's motivating, and totally doesn't make me want to say fuck it forever. Also, in case you aren't aware. 100% accurate fox/falco is taken specifically from terminal montage's videos. I'm sure you know this and are just telling me to stfu right now.

Adam I'm happy to say that Knuckles will be getting a new Up B similar to a Shoryuken and Glide will be transferred to Side B replacing the old one. Thanks for the feedback. Adam if you do read this if you had any other smaller bits of feedback that'd be lovely to hear to improve his score from a 5.
It looked like the Ness you reviewed was made to more accurate to his original game, since the version in Smash Bros uses several moves from his other party members instead of his own moves in that game.
Them being tall is mostly due to people ripping some sprite from somewhere (for exemple Gamma is from Sonic Battle on the GBA, that is why he is a bit smaller) And they don't resize said sprites so that is why they a lot of them have inconsistent sizes compared to others As for being OP i have no idea

Oh, my character got the lowest rating in the video lol I don't really object to Frog's rating, seeing as a lot of the character's moves are drastically scaled back from what I originally wanted because I can barely code anything. Though I do kinda wish you elaborated a bit more. My goal with the character was to kind of just work on implementing a "completed" character as quickly as I could, but now I'm going back and forth on whether I should try to tune him up or just move on to another project.
Don't worry my man the fact that you tried to make a character really fast and actually admitted that he isn't good is something really hard to do. I give you props for that. PS I'm sure you'll make an amazing character if you have more time and knowledge for coding.
Dang, I wish I knew about this, I would have submitted my character, Classic Sonic. He was my first RoA character and I finished him recently. Now, he could've have been better, but for my first, I say I did solid. My next character will be Sackboy, with all custom sprites made by me. With Sackboy, I will also fix any mistakes I accidentally did with Classic Sonic. And on the RoA Modding Server, people are already like Sackboy more than Classic Sonic, so I have high hopes. If you would like to see the showcase video I made for Classic Sonic, (at the time of writing this) it is my latest video.
As someone who plays Ultimate Meta Knight and wanted to like SSB4 MK more than i did (and as the guy who suggested workshop MK) the workshop edition feels great. If you like Smash MK i recommend at the very least giving workshop MK a few minutes in practise.
There are more than those actually that were missed on from this list like: -My Guilmon. -Renamon. -V-mon. -Agumon. -Davis. -The Mega man boss characters. -The guy from Gunvolt made by Mythos. -etc.

Didn't know anything about this, but if I would have known about it then I would have definitely suggested my Guilmon mod who has a full fledged Gallantmon evolution for a review. (Then again the way you reviewed Agunimon kind of hurt due to me being a big fan of Digimon.)

You should check out the Gunvolt character next time you decide to make another one of these. It takes a lot from its game and it’s really cool. Besides some knockback problems, the character is really fun.
It would be hella cool if some gave a hot at making a rivals version of the spirited away paper doll. Not necessarily a speed demon but a character with tricky movement - an airdash, shadow clone/teleport and maybe a meter-based projectile for momentum stock confirms.
spAnel. It has a neat meme ring to it kinda sucks that spinel is pretty stiff in this one though. like you would expect her to have a goofy, stretchy nature to her attacks. hopefully, the person who made gives the character a redesign or someone makes another version that stays true to her nature
@@MB-eh2kp Honestly, you'd expect Spinel to have range similar to Min Min, considering the stuff she does in the movie. I'd love to see her animation redesigned in something similar to, say, Skullgirls or Cuphead.

The reason Ronald Mc Donald is the most Jojo feeling character is because some of his attacks are based off of DIO from Jojo’s fighting game, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future.
If you plan on doing this again. I'd love your opinions on Daroach and Duff Mcwhalen, weird choices I know, but honestly I like them, as for one less odd, I'd recommend Ash as well.
