Beautiful Original Old 1951 KONE Traction Elevator @ Hietalahdenkau 18E, Kamppi, Helsinki, Finland

This residential building was completed in 1952, in the same year when the 1952 Summer Olympics were held in Helsinki/Helsingfors. The residential building has five staircases and eight floors, so it is among the largest in Finland that were completed in the early 1950s. I managed to get into four out of five, as the last staircase (Staircase E) doesn't have access through the basement. There was an imformation that these original 1951 gated KONE elevators weree going to be modernized or replaced just as they weree approaching 70 years of age in 2021, but remarkably, they are not yet replaced or modernized as of December 2023.
