- Hi I'm yobiedobie, and in this video I test out 5 different methods of coin grinding to find out which one is the best.

I was able to solo molten with just normal cowboy, no supports no farm, on tropical isles, I killed it either in or just before the final u-turn. So it is possible yes

Basically, you want golden scout & golden minigunner.
Golden scout is the best early-mid game tower & golden minigunners will allow you to easily solo fallen.
Golden crook boss, soldier, & pyromancer aren’t as good as g scout, but they’re better than anything else.
As for golden cowboy, it’s the worst. It struggles to provide in solos, so DON’T bring it to a quad.

The fallen king is harder due to the fact that it can stun ur towers when he reach the almost end of the map or Spawn His guardian To Make u die faster it's rng based but the most common one is stun

I think that the most fun thing to do while grinding for a golden crate is to rotate from Pizza Party to Badlands, to Polluted Wastelands. And then repeat.

@@Yobiedobie yo over since an update happened i belive it is now more cost effective to max out a few of your g cowboys. i think you gotta redo it becuase you need to learn the strat. i was able to solo molten with g cowboy commander and farm on that exact map.

most of the time when hes speakings its a voice over
btw a tiny editing tip: make sure to adjust music for different moments like if you're showing a moment of you talking to your friend in the game, adjust the volume lower!

I feel like doing Pizza and Badlands together should be a got strategy and not really repetitive
my personal opinion on the godlen towers:
1. Scout (best early defence)
2. Crook (realy good early-late game)
3. Mini (its good if u get it on like ur first g crate but later u probably already have accel)
4. Pyro (the hidden detection from the start and the range buff give it more use in the early game)
5. Soldier (just a worse version of scout)
6. Cowboy (more dmg = less cash generated)
Cowboy is atleast top 4 tfym minigunner and crook are horrible

best for molten is any map with name board, or stained temple as you can place shotgunner behind the spawn of enemies, best loadout for fast molten is
Farm, Shotgunner, Warden, DJ, Commander
-Place 2 Shotgunners 1 behind the spawn and 1 beside the path
-always get to dj lvl 2 when all farms are level 3
-level 3 wardens for slow boss

My personal ranking of the golden towers with explanations.
This is my opinion of the towers and can differ from person to person.
At number 6: Cowboy (It should be mentioned i dont have gold cowboy)
I think out of all the gold towers cowboy is the most underwhelming and dosent really have a niche like the others.
He has good early and mid game dps levels and makes more money than normal cowboy but i dont think that justifies the 50k price tag.
Number 5: Minigunner
Gold minigunner has more dps after the rework but his dps is still very lackluster and by the time you get him you will probably have better dps options.
Like Turret, Ranger and maybe Mortar or Pursuit if you are really unlucky.
The only upside of gold minigunner is he doesnt have a placement limit So it can be spammed very well if you have the money.
(At least the Gold skin is pretty cool)
Number 4: Crook Boss
Gold Crook Boss has very good early, mid and even lategame dps.
It is relatively cheap to upgrade as well
As spawning units for even more dps.
It has hidden detection pretty cheap so it can handle early wave hiddens very well and has overall very good versatility.
The only downside i can think of is that it has a placement limit of 4.
Number 3: Soldier
I feel like few people know that Gold Soldier gets flying detection at level 0,
So it has a decent niche in events for early flying enemies and early hiddens because of its decent early game dps.
It also has more reliable dps than normal soldier because of the increased shots per burst and higher damage per shot.
I cant really think of any downsides other than it being a burst fire tower, it serves its purpose well and even has a niche for early game flying enemies.
(DO NOT use it for hardcore Ace Pilot is better in every way)
Number 2: Scout (i also dont have Gold Scout)
Gold Scout is one of the best early game towers, having a very cheap cost and cheap hidden detection it can be used to handle the early waves and save money to get your dps and support towers.
Number 1: Pyromancer
I literally never unequip Gold Pyro, it is the number 1 best early game tower having hidden detection at level 0 and having ABSURD amounts of early game dps.
Golden Pyromancer is also cheaper to place and the first 3 upgrades are cheaper to buy than normal Pyromancer just solidifying its spot at the top for early game.
But its not just the best early game tower its also the best defense reduction tower, being able to reduce defense at level 3 removing up to 50% of percentage defense from enemies so your dps towers can do more damage.
It can also stack with the other defense reductions from Electroshocker, Freezer and Frostblaster.

Alr here’s my list from worsed to best. Crook,cowboy,pyro(dmg is alr, but terrible in general compared to jester, and with nerfs, the placement cost at least for anything above molten, early game potential is not there as well compared to jester), scout,soldier, and mini gunner as it’s damage is bacially quadruple accels as they have infinite placement, and only 100 less dps than accel, except there’s 40 of them.
@@timooseti5235wrong there too buddy, accel and mini have almost the same amount of dps. accel is better in most scenarios, sure mini is good in crowds, but lets say your doing a 4 player match, meaning you have 20 slots, and imagine you have commander dj and farm to place. if you are chaining commanders and you have 8 farms down then you can get 8 mini guns down, which will do less dps then 8 accels down

During the Halloween event, the bwst way to grind coins is to solo/speedrun act 1, its only 16 waves and gives 600 coins
Its worth it, 15m per 600 coins + pumpkin
1h = 2400 golds
Yep! Act 1 Is also good if you just want to grind pumpkins, but coins nonetheless

I’d say as long as it’s not too difficult or inefficient you should do what is fun for you. You’ll be more inclined to grind anyway if you enjoy it.
golden pyro is great imo, not only its insane at cleaning up early waves on its own, but placing it down at level 0 gives it hidden detection AND lead detection
definitely need for hardcore

Farm, Shotgunner, |Dps tower|, commander, and dj
You gotta spam shotgunner everywhere and commander and dj makes shotgunner so deadly and try to put shotgunners as fast as you can at early and put dps tower in later game and it works better with duo or trio

Golden pyro is one of the best towers in the game it’s not better than scout but it’s still really good early game
Golden cowboy is not worth it tbh, Although it better than gcb , but I would not get the tower to risk on getting other golden skin that will perform better ( I hate when the dev make auto claim lv tower now, gcb is basically inevitable but atleast I have more chance on other skin without cowboys lowering the chance and make me lose 50k coins on a skin I won't use)

In my opinion speedrunning pizza party is the best since its easy, doesnt take a long time and gives 1k coins every win.

You can beat molten in ~11:30 with shotgunner, farm, commander, dj, and a dps tower like accel or mini
I got my gold crates from 100 games of molten on the span of 5 days each is about 15 min per game so that’s like 6 hours a day since 100 divided by 5 is 20
problem with grinding out special mode is if your teammates are willing to cooperate or not
Here after getting all of the golden crate in 2022, just coming back to tds and see what the community changes

My first golden tower was gold scout BEFORE the solar eclipse rework, I then took a long break and decicded to grind again. I got GOLDEN SOLDIER
Don't worry buddy golden soldier is now better and 2nd place of all golden towers.
Its still sad though cause they are both early game towers. In what game would you bring both g scour and g soldier. You would want g cowboy for money or g pyro for support or g mini for dps, but 2 early game towers in a row is kinda annoying but at least he has options now though@@omarandcocoschannel5604

The most underrated method is molten, it doesn't take a lot of time and it gave 500/13 min
I got my first gold crate on Christmas so consider it as a Christmas gift and I got soilder
I got g scout on my first golden crate, it’s nice but I wanted g cowboy, I’m just gonna get 75k and get it on the daily shop
reccomend playing solo-randoms on pizza party and dying on wave 16-20

Top 1: G Mini
Amazing sub-DPS tower! I actually can solo Fallen with this, unlike Accelerator. Nothing too special, though.
Top 2: G Scout
Amazing for the early game! Nothing else to say.
Top 3: G Soldier
Helped a lot in Act 2. Almost as good as G Scout but with flying detection!
Top 4: G Pyro:
Amazing support! Helps with the early game, too! (Also, it's good for Act 2)
Top 5: G Crook Boss
Good early game tower! It's decent for mid-game, too.
Top 6: G Cowboy
Not nearly as good as before. It does more damage, kills enemies faster, which makes it give you less money for a bigger cost, and kinda ruins the point of the tower.
I haven't tested G Pyro in a long time, so I might switch G Soldier and G Pyro later on.

My gold tier list
6. Scout: soldier is just better.
5. cowboy: would have been higher if didn't get nerfed in the event, outside of the event it is still quite good.
4. Soldier: honestly best early game for event and in general, extremly powerful. Gladiator (and scout) is still better for speedrunning
3. Crook Boss: honestly my favorite, just a good all around tower good for early and mid and still extremly useful for late game, good in events too.
2. Minigunner: Situational tower since it depends of the amount of players, but still the best tower in the game.
1. Pyro: defense melting go brrrrr, extremly good with breakers and for early and hiddens, good in every situation too.

you can solo fallen even before lvl 50 and special/golden units, farm, commander, dj, ace pilot and minigun, the right map, a bit of rng and done, soloed.

I think Pizza party is the most cost efficient from all the maps
It gives you 1050coins/19-21minutes, while molten gives 500/12-14 minutes, unless you can solo molten on 10 minutes or lower Pizza party is the best
