I made that coopers Euro lager using a flavour enhancer kit 3 and the standard yeast and it was excellent. A real bargain.

You’ve got to love the British weather ☀️☔️ castlemaine XXXX can you still get hold of that ? I’m not sure I’ve ever had it ? A sparkler on a hand pull is a important part of British history. Great shout out to 8 sails love the beer they produce but still not been 🥹 great update as always cheers guys 👍🍻

Great video as ever, chaps. Interesting looking new extract kit out now from Mangrove Jacks - Black Forest Stout. Maybe worth a review as we get nearer to Christmas?

Good video fellas. Festival make great kits. Not tried that one. Made the lager one many times. Usually dry hop some saaz hellertau.

Did the Coopers Euro as one of my very first brews when I restarted in 2019. Very Stella-like. As I’ve just sold my all-grain kit this will be my next brew to try out my new Fermenter King Junior, replacing the Coopers heat with the ever reliable 34/70.
Keep up the good work guys!

I brewed the Brigadier recently. Its a typical English pale ale/bitter. I quite like this style, described by my son as a beery beer. A good kit and one I'll do again. Their Landlords and Razorback are good as well. Might not be the most adventurous brews but thats the way I roll.

Hello from Victoria Australia, I'm glad you used Novalager yeast, I use that every week in my all grain lagers, the yeast they provide with the Coopers Lager kits is an ale yeast, you can taste the difference with a lager yeast it is more clean and crisp and more like a true lager, as for 32C down here you don't notice it because our heat is a dry heat 32C on the beach is great, 32C up in the tropical north in Brisbane, Queensland it feels hotter because of the humidity

Thanks guys for this brilliant and honest review, I've not brewed a Coopers kit for a long time but never had a bad one, the Brigadier sounds like a good one. Take care and all the best, Huzzar, to The KING. Stevie

Well done Mate (Australian accent) every beer drinker should have the right to have their beer served though a pump sprinkler. It is our right as a Northerner. Blessid are the beer makers

I'm becoming a big fan of the Novalager yeast and have had fantastic results so far with it...even at 22 degrees! Great video again fellas. Cheers! 🍻

Festival kits are great. I will have to give the Brigadier a go. For any beginners watching this, you can of course save money and brew the Coopers kit with the supplied yeast and a kilo of sugar, which is probably how most of us on here started brewing!

Regarding sparklers on beer, it works both ways, when I was 'up North' a few years ago I always got hassle when asking for a beer with the sparkler off but totally agree, customer choice, it doesn't take much effort to do what the customer prefers :) Great entertaining video as ever :)

With any lager, use Nova lager yeast unless you want wait 3 months. If you don't mind waiting? use a traditional lager yeast.

Born and bred in Hull but I don't like sparklers, they knock the life out of your beer.
Agree with the principle that you can like them of course. :)

@@beerkitreviewspartridge1083 agreed. I used to ask for it off but was told they can't touch it incase they transfer bacteria from hands, I guess it's not economic with time to keep sanitising hands ?
My beer engine has a southern pour spout not a swan neck so I think you'd lose the will to live lol
