As I’ve spoken about in previous videos on this channel, the environment of where a recording is made can completely change the vibe of the sound. From Abbey Road to Electric Lady, there are so many iconic spaces embedded throughout popular music. However, the ability to take the equipment on the road has allowed for not only various live albums to be recorded in spaces which otherwise weren’t equipped for recording, but also for artists to record in any location they see fit. From Muddy Waters front porch to the River Thames, today we are going to look at some awesome examples of moving recording studios and the locations they allowed records to be made in!
