How to make melting text effect in adobe photoshop

    what layer do you have selected when you're using the mix brush tool?

      Layer with mix brush name ,layer below of hue saturation 00:54

    I'm not sure how this happened to my mix brush but its grayscales it for the last step :/. Do you know how I can fix this? Thanks again for the video tho!!!

      probably the file mode has been set to Grayscale. To fix this go to menu.. Image > Mode > and select either RGB or CMYK. Or.. Maybe you are painting on a Layer mask instead of a layer. Check if your layer has any layer mask on it and what are you selecting before using the brush.

      If your image is already in RGB or CMYK mode then check if accidentally you did not turn on oy red blue or green channel. Select RGB channel to show all

    I do not know why my mix brush is not working, it has a weird pointy thing and doesnt look like a brush
