In-House Stone $ Salt Mining for Mineral Food Production | HORSCH AgroVation | FS 22 | Timelapse #11

Welcome back to the HORSCH AgroVation Farm Timelapse. First, our agricultural process begins with the collection of straw following the wheat crop harvest. Once this task is completed, we return the forage harvester and truck to the yard. Subsequently, we bring out the FENDT 724 VARIO tractor equipped with the AMAZONE mounted spreader to the field, where we spread granular fertilizer. Upon finishing this task, we introduce the FENDT 936 VARIO tractor paired with the HORSCH JOKER 8 RT cultivator to the field and assign a hired worker to continue the cultivation work.
Meanwhile, we are taking steps to reduce our reliance on external suppliers for raw materials required in the production of mineral feed additives. On our property, we have old stockpiles of crushed stone. To facilitate its extraction, we have acquired a Caterpillar R3000H wheel loader. Using this loader, we transfer the crushed stone to a pile, and from there, we employ a belt loader to load the stones onto truck trailers. These loaded trailers then transport the stones to our stone crusher.
Additionally, our sugar factory has been accumulating molasses as a byproduct of beet processing. We have decided to repurpose this molasses for use in our mineral additive production. Simultaneously, we've recently established a salt extraction facility on our property near a reservoir. We are now in the process of procuring a tank for transporting water from this reservoir to our processing facility. While we currently utilize tanks, our long-term plan includes the implementation of a pipeline for water supply.
At the salt extraction site, we load water from the reservoir into the tank and transport it to our processing facility. Furthermore, we load pallets with salt and deliver them to our factory. By taking these measures, we are actively ensuring that we source all the necessary components for our production independently, reducing our reliance on external suppliers.
