  • Join 762 Media as we ride behind Half Size Kerr Stuart locomotive 'Merlin' built by Ken Tate on the lightly used bottom loop of the Lynton Railway, a private 1.5km long 12 inch gauge railway toward the east of Melbourne.
The locomotive was getting a number of load tests this day after extensive work to the valve gear
    Enjoy!
Note. This footage was not edited it is just one big clip. There may be some minor mistakes

Oh love the converted Ute, that's gold.

Looks like a really cool little railway!

Great video guys, I must visit if I get a chance to go down that way. Sitting in the passenger car, one gets lost as to where you are even though it is only 1.5km of track.

Is there a way to get in contact with the operators and organise a trip? I've looked online extensively and found nothing, not even on Ken Tate. Just a bunch of info about some water powered English loco. I would love to ride this sometime.
