No you do not pierce the lace with the pins. You use french pins which are skinny and they slide right through the holes on the lace. That is why you do it this way, if you were to use normal bobby pins you would ruin the wig.

for anyone upset about the price they lowered it significantly! also not all synthetic is bad, there are some pretty high quality synthetics! human hair is only better if you want it too look extreamly natural. Synthetic is better for glamour.
