the lucky duellist Witch are now both out of date, and seeing how he is skipping arc-V in the series rotation he seems to be doing, I think it is safe to say he isn't doing any of the arc-V characters until arc-V is done.
In the Japanese versions of Astral's observations, Astral seems more human, while in the English Dub, he sounds more alien, which is better. He sounds more in depth and more mysterious.
To be honest hearing the observation bits from the English, and Japanese version, I kinda prefer the English because it kinda mixes naïvety and scientific wording, it reminds me of a Borg like Seven of Nine from Star Trek, and how they learn about the universe from their own observation vs how the collective observes things.

Tho I wish more people when drawing all the protags would INCLUDE Astral in their drawings because Astral is Yuma's "Atem" counterpart & Atem never gets left out. Neither should Astral. Also his dub and sub voice actors were just amazing, probably some of the strongest vocal performances. It's probably one of the most complex roles to portray tbh. So I'm happy he was done well in both versions.

I think it's slightly different; Astral is a separate and very different being from Yuma, whereas Atem is basically Yugi in his past life. They're the same guy, just from different timelines, while Astral is more his own character.
I totally agree. Astral is by far one of the best Yu-Gi-Oh! characters ever. Zexal is often referred to as the worst Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime. But I think that because of xyz and astral. It’s the best.

You know I actually really like the story arc of zexal it’s such an interesting concept and almost flawless the only thing that brings it down is the voice acting and useless side characters that have completely nothing to do with the story at all.
Since his appearance from his distant world of light when don thousand is on the rise from the dark world of the barians when teamed with yuma and the colleagues when on the quest to look for the number cards to regain his memoirs of his life when he obtained the numeron code of the revival of the others he is a true friend of hope to high five the sky.
i like how the japanese observations are translated in english as more straight forward, simple and yet still clever and into the point compared to the dub, while in the dub idk why the heck they kinda had the need to overcomplicate the same lines or meanings and sometimes to make them even sound more moralistic or sugar coated (for lines that were harmless already).... one more clear example though of dubs altering chars main core and personality i guess...
