I got three, two from one source new and a used one I got on a forum. Well the used one James and the two new ones won't even fit into the mag well. It's a Henry made gun.
Wait a second i just bought this 15 round mag from buymymags.com for 34.99$ and it not only does NOT FIT in my henry survival rifle but it also does not fit 15 rounds in securely? At first i could not even fit the 15 rounds in becayse the spring was too stiff so i used a pen to compress the spring down several times because it was also sticking to the inside wall then when i went to try and refill it with 15 the last/top round wasnt being pressed up to the top so it could not load into the chamber!? Wbat really sucks though is that "buymymags.com" not only doesnt have a contact number on their website but they also do NOT have even and email contact!? Beware of that shady website everybody!!
Not entirely true. In Canada there's no limit on 22 rimfire magazine capacity. There is 5 round limit on centerfire long-gun magazines and a 10 round limit on centerfire handgun magazines. And i believe there is an exemption for Lee Enfield bolt action centerfires and M1 Garand stripper clip fed centerfire rifles.
10 round limit on pistols apply to .22 as well. That is why ruger 10/22 can't have rifles over 10 rounds now. Those idiots made a pistol for the magazine.
I just got 2 Henry ones... the feed lip is way shorter, and the sides are taller. Plus they are a but jiggly in the mag well. Failure to extract on every shot fml
Hey G. Yeah those were made for the Charter Arms version......and they dont feed the BEST in those....but they do work decent. The Henry rifles were reverse engineered as I hear it.....so the mags from the Armalite and Charter Arms FIT the magwell....but wont feed reliable in the least. If you figure out a way to make them work hit me up with a comment because I would stock up on them if they worked.
Outrageous! Consider me unsubbed. ("Consider" because I'm not actually unsubbing.) Went to a packed gunshow yesterday and saw a vendor selling BX-25s for $100+. I took a deep breath and walked around and went back to tell the vendor that they'd never see another dime from me (I'm a capitalist but thought that was crazy, especially since they weren't selling) and realized Ruger was dong something really "outrageous"--making the BX-25x2. Like the name says...they flip to hold 50 rounds.
So where does one get these magazines? I can live with a bunch of 8-rounders because I own about twenty Ruger BX-25 x2 mags and some cheap 50-rounders; however, I'd like some extended mags for the Henry. Why doesn't someone make some mags for the Henry AR-7? To answer my own question, I suspect it's because the AR-7s are somewhat rare. Not too many people own them.
Why is there a scope on an AR-7? The whole point of the AR-7 is that it can breakdown into its own stock and be self-contained....You can't do that with a scope on it. If you want to dress up a 22, why not just get a 10/22?

In the late 1970s they had 25 round curved magazines. You might want to pick a vetter weapon for protection

Good for you, i think it would be nice to have higher capacity magazines, but also enough 8 round original magazines to.

m1 garand isnt stripper clip fed its an enbloc clip gun

I got the 15 round mags on GunBroker but I can't say their reliability was very good =)

It's meant to break down for packing. The gun has a special bugout bag you can buy that will accomodate a scope, bipod, silencer, maint. kit, etc
