That first case is an example of a woman that I would not let around my child because I feel like she would be abusive. She’s already denied her and mistreated the little girl so I would not trust her to babysit at any point in my life. Daycare it is.

I went through that with my 1st husband. I was always the bad person for whatever happened between us. His family was totally disrespectful and they helped him hide the fact that he had outside children. Took care of his other children and mistreated mine. So happy for me and my self esteem that I got out of that marriage.

After four years of trying to be the bigger person, I got fed up when she extended the abuse to our 1 yr old son and I put my foot down, barring her from being near my child. Now her entire neighborhood and her family from her hometown are all calling me a demon. SMH...
My husband though, is nothing like that husband. He's supportive of us (me and our son), and has been known to put mil in her place. I'm known as the demon who turned hubby against his family.

2nd case: neglecting to share a critical piece of information to someone (aka not telling someone that you’re married before you get in a relationship w them) is a lie of omission. It’s omitting information that would change the outcome of a situation
I can relate to the first case. I had a monster in law too! My husband of 42 years disowned his family because his egg donor wanted him to Marry someone he didn’t love! It all worked out in the end and our children wanted nothing to do with her. She finally died early this year at 93 yrs old. Mrs. Martin was classy but Ms. Autry was rude and doesn’t deserve such a beautiful grand baby!

1st case- I remember watching this when it originally aired and thought how awful that “grandmother” was and how proud she was of her foolishness. You know she causes problems for the whole rest of the family. As a nurse who had to deal with these type of family members, you best believe that I wouldn’t have just “put her out” I would have had security escort her out or if she carried it to a higher level I would have had no problems calling the police.

First two cases; Judge Lake was OVER it when she asked for the DNA results, lol. The grandmother in the first case is a hot mess. She's lucky the mother is willing to allow her in her grandchild's life. It speaks volumes that her son didn't want her at the wedding.

That first case sounds like my mother in-law🤦🏻♀️! When my husband and I at the time were engaged, I was over at his parents house and the first thing his mom brings out is a family photo album with him and a few pictures of his ex and casually told me "Oh, he should've married her.." I just stood there holding that album and chuckled as I didnt want to be rude in her house. On another occasion, she called my husband in a "panic" to tell him I was out cheating on him! (I had posted on ig me out to lunch with a male friend who is not interested in women😉) Hubby already knew where I was and who I was with as I had told him what my plans were that day. I realized why my husband kept me from that side of his family all throughout us dating. I thought he was hiding me when really he was trying to protect me from his possesive and catty mother. Sadly, she kept intervening in our relationship that he cut her off and only speaks to her when necessary.

Not every grandparent is in a financial situation to babysit their grandchildren for free, as much as they would like too. Food, formula, diapers etc cost money.
I use to do a lot helping out with my grandchild when my daughter was gravely ill.
I was fortunate to work for a company who gave me time off each day to run my grandchild to daycare, then home again.
Unpaid time off work, petrol costs, food parcels etc etc add up. I’m just grateful l live in a country where we get free medical treatment, and children get free daycare.

I love that girl first case, she's very respectful and humble in my eyes. The mother in law on the other hand was just nasty and I wouldn't allow her around my child.
Third case, there is no need to be an expert in detecting a lie, to KNOW the baby´s father IS NOT DEAD. She doesn´t know who the father is OR he is married and does not want nothing to do with her.

i love paternity court I watch it everyday and I don't have no kids or grandkids but I still love this show it has the best paternity cases and with the most beautiful judge to hear them and I will be watching this show as much as possible on here.
