My family is Ashkenazi. My great grandmother had to flee in 1908. Even though I’m not religious, what happened last week has really got to me in a very big way. Thank you for making this video, it’s relieving to know you’re not alone in feeling the way you are.

Never apologize for including the "graphic details", my friend. These are things that must never be forgotten; if they're forgotten, they'll be repeated. My grandfather brought back several... German arm bands... and other, even more grim items, from the war; these were not spoils or souvenirs, or trophies- They were reminders. I keep those talismans of evil, now, though touching them still makes my blood run cold. One of the reasons these horrible things are still happening in the world, is that people are starting to forget the lessons of history. We can't let that happen.

This is a very good video. I myself was adopted from the region Rostov-on-don, or novoshakhtinsk to be exact. I was brought to the U.S by adoption and am very thankful for it. I was also brought into a Jewish family which has taught me good values. The war over there is pretty complex and there is really not a clear answer of what to do. Yes we all wish people could lay down arms and find a solution but sometimes it is not that simple. Antisemitism and Islamophobia is rising fast. It is important to remember to chase facts and build your own opinions so solutions can be made to help everybody

Thank you for educating people! During WWII, my father escaped the ghetto work camp in Polish town of Ostrowiec and was captured by the Russians who thought he was German (blue eyes, blond hair) and he was sent to Siberia labour camp. He was a young teenager all alone. He only survived thanks to a woman doctor who cared for him. After the war he stayed in Poland for 10 years until his brother (Auschwitz survivor) made him emigrate to Canada in 1957. My father was such a good and kind man. He didn't hate anyone despite his family being murdered, his mother included. Some of his best friends in Canada were from the old country, Germans, Russians, Poles. He left the experience behind, but it was part of who he was and who I am. I look forward to seeing more of your content. Now with my parents and most of my beautiful family gone, it makes me feel at home.💙

I am Catholic and from Scotland. I can remember on June 16? Men were marching in a parade in front of our house and our neighbors. The women started screaming and I ran outside to see what all the excitement was about. I was 5 and as soon as I came out grown men began to throw stones at me. My Aunt ran out grabbed me by my dress and hid inside. We moved to America. We lived in Maryland we thought it was Catholic but not in the Western part. We found nooses with "for Catholics" in the woods and 3 teens tried to rape me when I was 10 but 2 Catholics beat 3 KKK who hate blacks, Jews and Catholics. My mother taught me always about the chosen people and their suffering. I'm finding it hard not to hate Muslims.

Stay strong, Brother! I'm from Birobidzhan (still have family there) - had "Yevrei" on Line 5, the works. When we'd get permission to go to cities to shop, we didn't have problems buying 'soft' train tickets AT HOME, but when I was going to university and would buy tickets to visit home on holidays outside of Birobidzhan, Line 5 usually meant "defitsit myagkiye" and I'd spend a week on the hard bench seats to get home. I even asked a porter why I wasn't allowed to buy soft seats when there were clearly a lot unsold, and he looked at my internal passport & held up a hand with "Five". I thought he wanted 5 Roubles to "upgrade", but then understood. My grades were the highest in my class, but even so, getting into university was mainly because they actually had to show that a certain quota of people from Birobidzhan were in universities - I got one of our Oblast's slots, my sister actually got one of the Jewish ones. We actually had to maintain near perfect grades to keep our studies continuing, something no Russian-Russian had to do. Anyhow... A bi gezint, Khaver!

I hear & understand you. I can see both sides of the issue, the Bolshevik Revolution which harmed the Tsarist status quo was blamed on jews because of Rasputin.
The KGB were treated very badly by jews in Ukraine part of the USSR, as goyim/slaves which was completely inappropriate.
However USSR/Russia defeated the Nazis during WW2 & made the biggest sacrifice of 20 million soldiers 🥺 & now are fighting the Ukranazis & NATO nazi mercenaries. God bless the Russian 🇷🇺 military.
The issue with Israel & Palestine could be solved with a 2 state solution but, Israel doesn't want that & pushes forward with Collective Punishment & attempted Genocide of Palestinian people of Gaza which are War Crimes. It's like the Nakba part 2. Netanyahu wants to forcibly move them to Egypt by denying them the right to live. The Torah says not to kill innocents. He strikes me as a secular, atheist Zionist.

The collective unconscious - that is what Jung called the shared trauma. And it isn’t imagined. Longitudinal studies of Holocaust survivors and their children found that their CHILDREN - children who weren’t even conceived at the time - had higher rates of anxiety and depression and diabetes and high blood pressure. The stress of the mothers caused epigenetic changes in their children.
But yes, I think being Jewish (and Palestinian) in this country has to be a very isolating experience right now. I’m Baptist. I won’t try to dunk you today, but I am praying for all.

I don't know if id say all Americans view it purely as just religion, I think when people talk about it in America they just assume you are talking about religion as it has the biggest impact on how someone lives their life vs just saying you have Jewish blood. I think I lot of people understand there is a difference between people with Jewish blood and people who follow the religion, it just goes unsaid. Although maybe i'm just speaking for myself and underestimating the lack of knowledge of others.

Calculating the numerology of the word "al-hadid" which means "the iron" = 57
57 is the middle atomic mass among three stable isotopes of iron, which are the most widespread in nature. Also, the order of chapter Al-Hadid in the Qur’an is 57.
The question: What is the probability of coincidence that the numerology of "the iron" and " iron" in arabic equal the value of atomic mass and atomic number of iron discovered by non-Muslim atomic physicists, and we, as believers in God who follow all the messengers, believe that God knows the future like the past.

      @@pavel-makarov777 Narrated Sulaiman bin Yasar:
I asked `Aisha about the clothes soiled with semen. She replied, "I used to wash it off the clothes of Allah's Messenger and he would go for the prayer while water spots were still visible. "
      Sahih al-Bukhari 230
The occurrence of the word “iron” in the chapters prior to the Medinan period proves that the writers of the Qur’an did not intend to make any affiliation between the numerological values of the Arabic word and the numbers or names of the chapters. Strikingly, the word “iron” never appears in the Surah named “Luqman”, which is the 57th chapter according to the chronological order of the Qur’an.
The most important question that awaits an urgent answer from Yahya is why he rejoices and exults after facing the fact that the atomic number of iron is equal to the numerological value of the Arabic word “hadid” although neither the system of assigning numerical values to letters and words in Arabic nor the atomic number of elements is in any way associated with the Qur’an! If what Yahya points at is truly a mathematical code, this code exists independently of Islam and disregards religious affiliation because what makes the two numbers in view equal is apparently not the Qur’an.
It is worthy of note that Harun Yahya’s flirting with numerology concerns the comparison of the numerological value of the Arabic word for “iron” with the atomic number of iron and the number of the Surah in which the descent of iron is talked of, but ignores the number of the verse on which he bases all of his theories under the title “Miracle of Iron”. Isn’t this weird? What prevents Yahya from reconciling numerology with the number of the verse about iron in Surah 57? The problem is that the number of this particular verse is 25, which betrays Yahya’s efforts by objecting to reconciliation with both the numerological value of the word “hadid” and the atomic number of iron. We are sure that Harun Yahya is terribly upset and disappointed because of the number of the verse containing the word “iron” in Surah 57. This is why he simply ignores the number of this verse, which falls short by one of forming another mathematical code directly linked to the Islamic scripture, and consequently feels obliged to look for a mathematical code outside the Qur’an. The fact that the verse of iron in Surah 57 has the number 25 instead of 26 should teach Yahya not to trust numerology and not to mistake coincidences for divinely inspired or revealed mathematical codes.
Yahya’s reliance on numerology and his subsequent impertinence caused by his disappointment most likely arise from the faulty presumption that the 25th verse of Surah 57 has a unique place in the Qur’an and through it Allah aims to draw attention to the significance of iron. This is not the case though, for Surah 57:25 is only one of the ordinary verses referring to iron, being not different from the verses having the word “iron” in the Meccan period of the Qur’an. Even though this is the first and last verse in which the verb “send down” is used with “iron”, the reason for this distinctive usage is explained by Ibn Kathir, who associates the existence of the verse to the use of swords by Muslims in defense of the Islamic faith in the post-migration era

It's not about which side you are on as if it's Israel or Palestine. It's not a football match. The Israel army is doing a genocide in Gaza and they're not really treating Palestinians nicely in the West Bank either. It's about which side you are on but the options are not Israel or Palestine but it's about are you on the side of justice or on the side of hypocrisy, injustice, racism and doing harm to certain group of people. Just because Jewish people were being treated badly throughout history and have a different mentality because of it and Arab people didn't doesn't mean that they can now inflict damage to Arabs or to any people in general and make them suffer under a false flag. The false flag is:"I was being treated baldy by other nations throughout history so now I have the right to treat another nation even worse because of it." Btw they are not doing that to Arabs for revenge because they weren't even the ones that hurt them. As this guy said it was the Nazis and some Soviets that did it and other nations but not Arabs. They are literally doing this with no actual right or explanation.

Yea I've heard of these stories. My grandfather told me all the oppressions russians have done to ukrainians. Same stuff. All of that gets passed down and you carry it in you. And you can still see the oppression russia tries to inflict on ukrainians now. My great grandparents weren't even allowed a passport they were essentially colhoz slaves with no real ability to become anyone. Hope israel survives but I hope all the colonized and abused nations of russia receive their freedom

No, except Palestinian government, that never goes away and that’s the only reason for this conflict.

@@andreions learn a little bit about the conflict that started way before 1948 and it started WITH ARAB VIOLENCE. All the places Jews were expelled from (dozens of them). Hebron massacre. Riots that forced British to restrict Jewish immigration during Holocaust (while arab immigration to palestine kept going at full force all the first half of the 20th century). Al Husseni’s friendship with Hitler. Arabs (more precisely their leadership) did a lot of crap and always got offended when Jews defended themselves. This pattern continues till these days. You might want to ask, why did Arabs get so angry in 1910s and 1920s, well, Jews didn’t take away their land or houses, Jews didn’t displace them or massacred them. Jews simply came in bigger numbers than Arabs liked. So, the real reason for this conflict is as old as human civilization, the oldest hatred of all, i e the Jew hatred. Arab population was incited against Jews based on Arab nationalism and later based on Islamic ideology. But, of course, the underlying substrate for this hatred was like in any other society, jealousy, and desire to blame the “other” for everything that goes wrong in someone’s life. Learn the truth. Of course, peace is possible, but if people delude themselves in the fundamental reasons of the conflict, these reasons will never be addressed and the conflict will keep going.

Hello Vania, my father who was Ukrainian and a survivor of NAZI forced labor camps told me Ukrainian Jews never wanted to be assimilated and never considered themselves Ukrainian, but Jewish instead, a totally separate people. This may be why they were considered a separate nationality. By the way, if you are a humanist and an honest peacenick, please study the history of the creation of the State of Israel, not the whitewashed history but the actual facts of how Israel was created. Ilan Pappe a renowned Israeli historian of Haifa University was considered a traitor and had to leave Israel for presenting the true, unpleasant facts of how Israel was created and how the Palestinians were actually abused for decades. I always wondered why the Zionists chose to punish Palestinians for the crimes committed by the NAZIs against the Jews. It is note worthy that the State of Israel a few years ago has quietly proclaimed Judaism as the official religion of Israel, in other words has admitted Judaism as a nationality. A real democracy does not have an official religion. My father had also said when a German soldier was killed by partisans, they hung about 10 Ukrainian peasants as a reprisal. It is evident Israel has far surpassed this ratio in retaliation against Palestinian civilians for the Hamas attack. Killing innocent civilians is a war crime no matter who does it, no one is excused, not even God's chosen. My father's and Mother's family were wiped out during the second world war. Jews were not the only victims, millions more of various nationalities were starved and worked to death. Communist officials and sympathizers and their relatives were not rounded up to concentration camps but shot immediately on the spot, once discovered by a special NAZI unit.
