As a Luthier, you have simultaneously managed to impress yet terrify me.
🤣🤣🤣🙏
Same. Every word.
If you're impressed by that, you must be a shit luthier.
This eleventeen kid is killing the Gibson tradition… good
🤣🤣🤣💀
Nah not really.
@@lueysixty-six7300 it's a joke referencing that guy from BC rich
Dude, you win the internet for a day.
@@Zundfolge You're a tit.
I am simultaneously baffled at the audacity for someone to actually try this on a real Gibson and also amazed that it actually worked and sounds great. This was an awesome video!
@@castleanthrax1833 That guitar will forever be part of what makes him feel proud about himself. If I had done that, I wouldn't sell it
They just break off easier anyway lol
I mean as far as the pickups are concerned, the only thing that's changed is the bridge.
@@CamiloPefaur Because who would buy it apart from a moron.
Thank you so much for checking out our amps Kaylen! 🤘🤘
My pleasure, thanks for making sure I get my LP investment back 🤣🤣🙏
@@sixstringtv1 😂😂
Just a few weeks ago, I was at a Guitar Center and saw THREE Gibson/Epiphone guitars in for broken headstocks. I remarked to the tech that somebody should market a readymade kit for luthiers to convert a decapitated Gibson into a dedicated headless guitar.
Strandberg been real quiet since this released
As someone who loves Les Pauls but hates Gibson, I think you just made the perfect guitar.
A Head-Les Paul
I've heard many people refer to German engineering as the high standard of execution, little did I know that the average citizen could pull off something so amazing.
🤣🤣
Holy shit. I'm going to buy an early 60s LP and do this!
Why..??!
Just get a modern one (anything from 90's onward).
Early 60 s will cost you stupid money - and the value will plummet from even minor more, let alone something radical as this.
If you wanna experiment...start with a Les Paul that has no pre existing sentimental value. So early 60's model is just a few years after the ultimate Holy Grail year, and considered highly collectible in their own rights... An Epiphone wouldn't be an altogether bad idea...
👆r/whoosh! Somebody doesn’t understand sarcasm.
@@lueysixty-six7300 Dude.
59 is what you're looking for
I can smell the old American dads running to your house
This is the most cursed guitar video I've seen in my entire life. I love it.
Why did you use a saw? The heads actually have convenient perforations inside of them like tearing off a a paper towel for easy removal.
As a Gibson geek myself, I gotta say that’s pretty cool. I might wanna try it now too, Keylan 🤘
You are a Frickin animal - which is why I have notifications set for your channel 🙌
🙏🙏
"This is my fucking hacksaw"
-Kaylen SixStringTV, 2023
Was hoping to see a video about this in my feed some day, the result is alot better than I thought it would be. Awesome job. 🤘😁
I'm angry! Not because of the work you did to this guitar, but that I'm too early into this video being posted to see a bunch of angry dads in the comments screaming at you.
Great video man! Keep up the awesome work!
Come back later for the angry old men 🤣🤣
@@sixstringtv1 you dirty eleventeen so and so. Let the road trip from US. Commence
The fan while you play your riffs makes it all the better!
Yes! Now change everything else, stick a headstock back on, a 00 on the price and call yourself Ed Roman!
Jokes aside, great video!
Well my Gibson never had that head stock break issue because they've solved that problem by using multiple layers of wood.
Gibson Owners: Probably mad about the headstock getting sawed off
Me: Do it again
Solved all of Gibsons headstock issues for em
I think it looks and sounds great. I'd definitely have one for myself. I am a fan of the Les Paul despite it's known and obvious issues. However I'm always a fan of stuff that has a very unique look and feel to it. Nice job on everything, indeed. Well done.
I'd feel a lot worse watching this video if I hadn't just got back from the guitar shop with the same guitar but a 99. You are a mad lad but it somehow actually works and looks cool to me.
that is fucking cool. I'd say Gibson should take notes, but they'd probably take a page from the Ferrari playbook and send you a cease and desist instead.
Awesome work man! Came out great.
part with him cutting the head stock off should be sent to gibson after the pattern pending been filed..great job also nice shred
It’s terrifying, it’s the Hills have eyes all over again
Absolutely hysterical keep coming out with great videos man. It is incredibly impressive at your age what you’re doing I’m in my 20s and I can barely play a bar cord lol. God bless!!
Continue to go against the grain I love it!
I’m really impressed! Wow what a great idea! I’m actually surprised that it hasn’t been done sooner!
This comments section is going to turn into a fantastic "Reading Mean Comments" source. Lmao
Oh yeah 🤣🤣
trogly is currently crying in his Les Paul bed because of this
🤣🤣
Ooof posted 4 minutes ago. I was kinda hoping to read some Boomer "This Eleventeen Kid is killing music" comments. Be back in a couple hrs.
Come back later for the angry old men yeah 🤣
The boomers are coming, trust. 😂
Trogly's Guitar Show would love this
Gotta find a way to get him to see it
Years ago my friend had a broken head sg and I had this idea back then, I'm glad you made it into a reality!
My idea was even to use the locking nut at the head!
Now you gave me an idea what to do with my old epi sg....perfect
Absolutely disgusting. I love it
This is so hilarious. It turned out great! 😂
Looks so much better than the first headless Gibson I saw, which had the headstock basically nailed to the other end to use for tuning.
As a huge headless guitar lover….. this was scary as hell! I have to say though, it actually looked cool. A headless single cut looks awesome. Kiesel makes some and they look pretty good.
Gotta love Head-Les' guitars.
So bad ass. That headless conversion came out great!
Absolutely brilliant video. love this! 😄🤘
7:05 great sounds
Thanks so much dude! His presets are killer!
Dude, the hair blowing during the jamming parts is hilarious!
Respectable. Modifying your own instrument isn't sacrilege in my eyes, and the headstock was already fucked. Good job!
My first headless guitar was one I made myself out of an existing guitar. It got knocked off its stand and the headstock broke in two so I cut what was left of the headstock off, bolted on an extra Floyd Rose locking nut and routed the body to move the tuning machines to the body. I've had that guitar for like that for 35 years and its always been one of my best playing, most stable and comfortable guitars even though its ugly AF (for many reasons, not just because its headless... I mean its pink with neon green splatters on it ... a local guitar shop used to run an "ugly guitar contest" every Christmas and I entered it several times. Never won though because it was actually playable). This was a cheap Tokai/Strat style guitar and so I ended up putting a tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece on it and use the tailpiece as basically a big string tree. We didn't have cheap, readily available headless bridges back when I did mine (yeah, I'm old).
!
Thank you. Finally, some one is doing the only right thing with a guitar Like this👍🏻. Wirklich, sehr gut gemacht. Alles gute weiterhin und viel Spaß.
Looks good! GJ
Sweet, you got one of those KD Patented bridges! They’re on lots of popular headless import guitars - Latitude, EART, ALP, Jamstik Studio, etc.
Most people don’t understand how to work them, but they’re really easy to maintain and use once you get past how different they seem. The tuning stability is awesome, the action can be set super low without even needing a zero fret. Not sure how you decided on this bridge, but good choice!
It's definitely a great bridge! I had to use one with tuners at the top cause the ones with tuners on the back would've sat right up against the body and I wouldn't have been able to turn them 🤣
Ah yes, the HeadLes Paul
Lol I came here to say the same thing
When he plays the natural breeze gous through his hair
This.. this was amazing!
😎🙏🙏
🙏
You just gained my subscription. Well done sir.
Welcome aboard!
This should become a common mod for Gibson SG's.
Since those have that god damn neck dive problem.
On the other hand, it's not that hard to put some extra weight on an SG.
Killer playing young man!
Bahahaha this amazing bro! You killed it
Lol, love the editing during the beheading. Ace.
I salute you sir. You have managed to single handedly fix neck dive
Excellent playing!
Thanks! 😎
Can you do a video on avenged sevenfold I am a fan of your channel and I want to hear your opinion on the band
Never thought I'd see the day when someone made a headless gibson possible 👌 just made my day mate😁
You should rename the video to "How to keep your Les Paul headstock from breaking."
This make me take psychic damage
Did you ever consider doing this with an Epiphone instead of a Gibson?
Play authentic
Slowly became one of my absolutely favorite channels seriously man up there with ola, lambchopper, Kyle bull etc great stuff man
🙏🙏🙏
As an Gibson/epiphone fan this is the most epic thing I ever seen lol love the creativity.
GREAAAT JOB !!!! 👍👍👍
if only it was red, then it could be The Red Queen! catchphrase: "Off with their..."
I bet the tuning stability improved
It actually did
I like Gibson shapes and I like headless guitars. This came out looking so good, well done man!
Glad you like it! 🤩
I do like Gibson shapes, but don't care for headless guitars. This headless Gibson is the first headless that looks the most appealing a headless has ever looked to me, and now I know why; what the other headless guitars miss is a good-looking vintage body.
You're a genius. This looks awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
Kaylen this is everything I wanted this to be… thank you 😂
I only play gibson guitars but i loved this video lol
I cant believe that this actually worked
This video will go viral
Yes!!
@@sixstringtv1 love your channel, i know you hate LP but this guitar is the best sounding guitar in ur channel IMO
Having the fan blow the hair around during a metal riff is absolutely Metal!!
You're a madman, lol. I wish you did this to a cheaper epiphone as opposed to a Gibson
Why would I? 🤣
Very satisfying! And I can see a signature guitar in your future :)
Yesss!!!
Absolutely love the way this looks, which is odd for me, since I do t really like LPs or headless guitars but this works. Any headstock repair will actually be far stronger than the original, it is the reason people use scarf joints on guitars. That Gibson can possibly break due to the same headstock angle and a direct slam but it will NOT break in the same place. That glue is crazy strong.
Let me put it this way! This is the best video, featuring a Gibson product, that exists on youtube! Loved seeing this sacrilege.
German engeneering and craftsmanship at its finest
OMG I love this🤣
Grade A content right here.
Freaking badass experiment
😂🤘
Good vid idea
All those broken Gibson heads :)
The one time I wanted what seem like clickbait to actually be clickbait LOL!
Awesome videos man
This is an underutilized solution to Gibson SG neck dive.
Headless SG next, PLEASEEEEE!
I love les pauls but still like the video and the hair wind tunnel 😁
As long as it blows wind in your hair 👍
That's pretty cool! 👍
That first hacksaw looks ancient, no idea why I feel the need to point that out.
Found it in the absolute back of my garage 🤣🤣
You deserve so much more subscribers, your content is so high quality!
What in the eleventeen hell have you done? 👀
Kaylen - brand new sub. Found you via KDH and was suitably impressed.
I take it you’re 17/18 atm.
You have a remarkable grasp of humour and irony in a second language, especially given the restricted number of years you’ve had to develop it.
Great presentation style. Nice one, mate. Keep it up.
You're one of three people who's guessed my age correctly and hasn't pegged me at like 23 lmao.
I am 18 indeed
Thanks for the sub
It's 5am so I read the title as headless Logan paul
??💀💀
Ready for flight sims
FINALLY!!!! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO FOR FOREVER
PS: You should give it some countours too, just fix everything with it 😂
Fantastic.
I dare you to install a floyd rose on it
You're crazy... I love it!
