Tell these sellers that as soon as I get a boat ride to Italia I will buy this house if it is not already gone, so do not despair, they already have at least one buyer. This is the very region, city, and location that I want. I bicycle everywhere, average over 50 miles a day, am 63 years old with no health issues in my entire life. Never been to the doctor in 50 years and I would LOVE to spend at least six months of every year cycling all of Molise. Bicycle and lift weights and you will be young forever.

I think this house would be great for an early retired person or couple that likes to travel. Middle floor as a living room. Save your money for trips with family and live your quiet town life there.

You don't have to pay rent, you come and go as you wish. Do as much or as little reno.

OMG that price can't be beat! I would use that middle floor as a lounge/living room. How hard is it to secure contractors to get the upper balcony fixed? How about earthquake assessment?

This place is lovely. Perfect place for someone like me who would love something like this to get used to Italy. Great start to get to build up relationships with the locals too.
Such a value for money. Yes, there are projects to make it more comfortable but it would be worth it.

I missed this place first time around. Its a little rough around the edges however the price alone negates any of its draw backs. Some prudent redecorating, an efficiency kitchen, window screens, mini splits and call it a day. Holiday homes are supposed to be easy, comfortable and stress free. This one is a good example of that idea.

I really like that home because it's compact but has an interesting layout. A couple of questions:
Are wet showers common in Italy?
Does anyone put in a rooftop terrace in the place of that tiny attic?
If the buyer did not have Italian residency and couldn't buy a car, what transportation options are there for shopping and sightseeing?

There are buses from the town to Termoli and other surrounding towns

Oh yes, the ceilings are high.
There is a kind of hose in the bathroom. I think most people don't realise that sewage and water directly to the homes only arrived in these towns in the late sixties and most people didn't have showers the way we do these days, that's why additions such as the bathroom in this house are somewhat common
Any recommendations on Italian language schools ? I was thinking studying Italian in difficult areas may give a better feel for a place then just traveling through.. also would give a base to work from, to explore areas around Italy ..

Uber is not available. Uber Drive is only available in Milan, I don't even think Rome has it yet.
Uber eats and similar food delivery services are available in the bigger cities and not in small towns.

It's a small darling little house. Is the bathroom considered a "wet room"...I think that's what you call it? On the stairs to the 2nd bedroom did they have a chair lift? If so how much would that cost to be removed? Thanks for sharing ❤
