i mean if you use the event directory you can kinda tell what cars can be used in each event, most of them have pp restrictions displayed and also tell you what drivetrain or nationality is required and stuff
I do 99% on my playing of this game on the single player mode. I don’t do the online racing. I can’t get past the fact that someone can knock me off the track and I lose 10 spots and they might get a half second penalty if that. I play video games to have fun and that just isn’t fun to me.
Dude tried side ramming me into the pit the other day as I was passing him. I had to ram him back to stay on the track and I was the one to receive the penalty. Smh.
At last ,I do exactly the same ,I just couldn't come to grips with the mentality of the pricks running me off ,I just want a fair race and would not stoop to their level .
I know right, i miss the ones from previous gt games, touring cars, American muscle, nasscar, historical race cars, group 1 cars, yeah we have individual races but missing tournaments that are actually worth playing with decent rewards

The ability to qualify is something that many people do not mention and I 100% agree! We need that feature back. They used to have back when the car limit was 6 cars per race and now with 20, it just makes more sense to have it.
There is nothing very wrong with the economy and the payouts, but what is very wrong is the hgh priced cars like the 20 million credit cars is absolutely ridiculous. If they where no more than 10 million I think every one would be happy.

While I have really enjoyed the game, it still needs a gigantic rewrite to fix everything. Just a small part of the full wishlist I'd like to see. - True offline mode - Significantly higher payouts for races - give out prize cars much more frequently - get rid of prize roulettes - proper championships with 5/7 or 10 races each with bonus credits worth the time and effort and a prize car that can be won more than once - proper endurance races - implement a scalable version of sophy AI for all races and get rid the current idiot AI - as mentioned in the video make special events become a permanent fixture of the single player - fix the PP rating system so that it actually tracks all changes and does so properly - fix the group ratings to give more granular control over which cars are suitable for a race - fix the bop once and for all, the current system is an utter mess - fix the penalty system - make the licenses worthwhile to complete, ie. Bring back race restrictions that include which license the player has - make the early game much more open ended and free form like the older games - get rid of the pathetic menu book/cafe single player, it's a piss poor idea that completely ignores what made the early games so much fun to play - have more grid start races and/or qualifying sessions for all single player races, preferably both - have more races that give us the opportunity to use the huge variety of cars available, atm many cars are basically useless - kindly f**k off with vgt cars, put more effort into bringing us more real world vehicles - give us Silverstone, ss route 5 and 11, Monaco, red rocks, midfield raceway, pikes peak hillclimb and any other courses that the game is sorely missing And still more that I haven't thought of or can't think of right now The game is not a return to the GT of old, it's good, but it's not what it should be and now that I've completed all the single player races, the only thing I'm doing is grinding credits to buy the rest of the cars and taking part in time trials, which isn't really sustaining my interest in the game any more
Spot on. I have played every mainline GT game to completion even GT PSP and this is why I continue to play GT on emulator. I haven't played GT7 since launch. And more new players come in, enjoy GT for what it is now and tell us to quit complaining. They don't understand what we are complaining about and PD doesn't listen.

But in all seriousness, I see your point, so how about this? Don't remove them, but don't make them the main campaign and instead have it as a side campaign and in its place bring back a real single player mode that's actually fun and engaging like what existed in gt3 or gt4, the 2 best games in the series to date. That way people like myself who remember what a fun gran turismo game is supposed to be can be satisfied, and you can experience an unedifying and soulless experience that is the current single player campaign. 😜

There a lot and you need to expose folks through so small forced bit, but agree, no need to force them all, but there is benefit from the car collection by doing them which seems good to encourage more wide racing in different classes, eras, etc and tracks. Balancing exposure versus this is the only way is never perfect for everyone but should be aspired to something reasonable.
Add buying parts straight from the settings menu... Sometimes you miss to buy something for the car and you need to exit completely, go back to the menu, Tunning Shop, etc. Save us the time of going through all those menus.
I want to see some sports wagons / estates like RS4 avant, M5 Touring, E Class AMG estate etc. And Some events for convertibles only, and bring in the Porsche Boxster, Ferrari Roma convertible / Portofino / California, etc. Some dedicated Kart tracks and kart events too.
Totally agree! They should implement the events in single-player mode. I was so enthusiastic about the Japanese Championship in Fuji, and didn't realize it was a temporary event. It felt so bad when I couldn't race it anymore!
They could use the music rally to bring back some of the classic GT tunes. Move the single make races into the brand central. Add more championships and more races to the existing ones . Make a hardcore mode where wear and tear last. Let us upload our own scapes. And color decals with the chrome and sparkly paints.
@@bigt43 I know exactly, barely any, especially if they auto delete within 90 days, so you have plenty of time to keep backups individually. But no race should every occur without each lap recorded, so even early quitting is recorded nearly completely, and bad behavior can easily be reported.
1 hour GR1 Le Mans race with a good pay out similar to 1 Hour Spa. Also a increased to bots in single player would be awesome or allow more than 24 spot in custom events so I could simulate my own 24 hours of Le Mans.
They need to float the grinding events around different tracks every week, need to bring back endurance races, and Grand Valley Speedway 300!!!!! I want each track or race to store past fastest lap times, circuit records etc,
I'd like to see the fixed roulette system sorted - that's not changed since day 1, you often get the lowest rewards, or a set of cams; with the occasional car. Honestly it feels like 90% of my spin wins are 10-50k rewards

I would absolutely LOVE to see a Race-spec fuel tank upgrade just so we can make road cars viable in endurance races. Also, better custom race AI, because the last one always does it best to be the slowest... It feels dumb. And more upgrades/aero parts for some cars. For instance, if we wont have race versions of the likes of the Diablo, 911 GT1, F40, F50... We should at least have access to the tools to make them like some weight reductions and Aero parts
Absolutely spot on. For instance: I think anyone who has been a fan of GT has been waiting for the JGTC for ages. The events themselves have been absolutely fantastic and I have bought and built every JGTC car to just play them on repeat. How they have not (yet?) made them into a fixed series is beyond me. But they will have to make up a lot of ground. I feel like we have been missing out on so much so to give us enough to satisfy our hunger will mean they will have to shift in overdrive. I want to be back at about 40% of event completed to have enough incentive to keep playing. I am expecting a lot of next week’s update but I’m afraid that even though it features an E36 M3 and an Impreza WRC + a new track, it will not be enough to keep us happy for very long… let’s hope this is just the beginning.
I'm still waiting for those 2h 4h 8h and even 24h events. 200miles or similar that were mandatory to the old GTs... Bring em back and let the players decide if or if not give it a go. I'll go for the 24h Nordschleife!💪🏻
Does anyone else agree that the Goodwood hill climb would be a great addition to the track lists... Even if it was just to test your car's on when tuning them. All the different categories and weather etc would be so much fun.
I want the new physics to actually give reasonable feel to slip angle. It blows my mind how this game has the 2020 iRacing issue and they've never fixed it. Just give us that feel at the edge of grip instead of needing to constantly go under.
Apart from everything people are saying (which I agree), I think a far more adjustable Field of View in cockpit view would change the game completely, it would be so much fun to play by simply being able to see things around and you also get an increased sensation of speed as a bonus...

Brilliant point. However, Polyphony know that building up the offline would come at the cost of online attendance. Like many other developers they seem dead focused on forcing players online. It's a shame and the reason this will be my last GT purchase.
Would love to see some sort of development into more drift related events, we had what 4-5 drift related events in the missions. They have drift lobbies online but no way to actually battle properly without dedicated players trying to watch replays or on corners!
That's what we do. So much better as you are driving with guys you know and trust can have good, clean racing with. The only limitation is your imagination on creating races. I made up all kinds of scenarios for the FLUMP series I ran. One would be a fuel saver, where the French were on strike so refuelling in the pits was set at 1L/sec😂. Another, continental wanted us to test a new tire, I set the tire wear really high, all compounds mandatory. Thunderstorms in Croatia, each race was very different to the next. Fun was the name of the game.
I think their is a good chance for some more worthy single player content in this update, More chili pepper races is very possible, new championchips would be a dream, maybe endurance races, i still think there is good chance we get some good stuff, given how much spec ll did and that had less going on in the trailer than 1,49 update But it feels to me that pd waiting until thry can integrate sophy into single player before adding much championchips or endurance races, i would prefer a more gt league style career but doubt the structure would change so late down the line.
Hard agree! Some of the one make races in these special events have been awesome. I absolutely love the Civic Touring Car ones. More championships are needed too. Take these categories and string several races together into a Championship - it doesn't sound too difficult to me. There are so many possibilities within the full car and track roster that we should really have a wealth of single player content.
As a average player I would like to see more single player content. I have only raced online a handful of times, when I do I just get smoked and it's not much fun.
GT7 needs to fix offline mode. Simply driving to get credits to collect cars is boring. 1) Create a proper career mode where you climb through racing categories. 2) Create specific racing categories to give you a purpose on road car modifications (e.g. Touring car racing 1.8-2.3L, 300hp, min. 1,100 kg, mandatory racing parts) and create a championship with that using users created liveries. 3) Improve CPU offline skills as some races are too easy 4) Add qualifying sections to avoid event races to be just overtake all cars 5) add more real cars (and not necessarily supercars) and real tracks
I mostly play custom races, with liveries downloaded and made by the GT7 community. Example would be ive downloaded F1 2008 season liveries for the f1 cars. The only thing is in custome races you dont get all the bells and whistles that you would have in the single player campaign. Example would be in the campaign you would have the red arrows fly by at the start of a race, or the pit crew come out at the end of the race. The N24 has 3 versions of spectators. Time trial has no spectators, custom race has spectators, but in a campaign race (800s) the spectators are in full swing. You see thr bbq smoke and can hear music etc. I wish they allowed all of this for custom races too. I find the campaign boring, and i dont play online but enjoy setting up races the way i like with the liveries i have.
I really wish for them to add more championships and some kind of free roam where maybe a big track with all of the variations where you could drive, also the ability to choose different wheel sizes for front and back, amd different tyre sizes as well!
This is actually a really good idea. I imagine that the reason why they want to have special weekly events, is because they want the game to function as a semi live-service game. It's what every other live-service game does. But keeping the events in the singleplayer doesn't meaningfully take away from the novelty that's supposed to hook the players in every week. It's a low effort solution - since they already have to make the events anyways -, and it doesn't hurt the game's monetisation. We should really be pushing them to release all the previous events permanently, and to keep every new event in the roster from now on. Adding all those events + substituting the current AI for Sophy in every event, I think are the most important improvements the game needs.
More championsjps, let us use GT Sophie tracks and inckude GT Sophie into the custom race option, but take out the silly emojis. Make the special events permanent for offline/single player mode. Let us sell parts. These would be good places to start. Always more tracks please.
I'm in agreement. Make the special events a permanent piece in the single player experience ESPECIALLY the single make races. Going back to GT2, those races were the fun and exciting. Pay was meh sometimes but the action was high. High drama, if you will. I wanna see more single make racing
Only couple of things i would want is, better economy, better payouts or the chance to win multiple cars for the same even, bring back B SPEC from GT5 that way you can still earn credits while your out and about etc 😉, for me GT5 was amazing lots of tracks loads of cars and just in general loads more fun 😁 go back to that pleaseeeeeeeee
the 5 Weekly Events wise they may be Weekly but i smash them out in 2 hrs ore less just to get them done then i go to grind other tracks for cash. if they had made them x3 Payout of the Norm id considder making them Grindable. but as it stands now not worth it. easier grinds elswhere
I have said this before, but if they had a number based difficulty instead of the easy medium and hard it would feel way better, if they had a 0-110 or something similar to the f1 games and maybe a little better rubber banding overall, gt7 would be way more enjoyable
These events are easily creatable in q custom race provided you own the cars to add into the custom race. But there really isn't any reason to add every one of them to the game when we are able to do this. PD is basically giving us a custom race that we ourselves can create. I would like the ability to add Sophy to the custom race though. That would be really cool. Besides if they added the custom race permanently every week, the game would require more storage space throughout the year that some people simply don't have. Just a fact.
@@boosted0079 the space required to store parameters would be miniscule if done properly, we're talking about a text file or database entry with the details in it and some thumbnails for display in the menus I'd wager that each race would only require maybe 10MB of space, and considering that we've only had what? 40 weeks of content added this way, the total amount so far would at worst account for a gigabyte or two of additional storage. The individual updates themselves each take up nearly that much if not more

I just don't think it's completely necessary to add every special event from every weekly challenge. More freedoms in the custom race settings would be nice. Something allowing us to build custom championship series for example. With reasonable payouts.
I agree with you ,Gt7 for the single player is the worst of 5,6, and sport we could go back further but. I don't do much line racing itdont turn me on.
Livery Editor needs a complete overhaul! custom paint colors have only 3 options solid, metallic & pearl There's only 1 color adjustment ... SMH with metallic paint there should be two colors to adjust base & pearl then clear coat. Midnight Club LA in 2008 had that option! NEED For Speed has more options. What happened to Qualifying? I'm fed up with chase the rabbit!
I've barely played GT7 since launch (Although I did beat campaign, gold all licenses and circuit experience) and this is why. As someone who's been invested in the series since 2003 it hurts seeing Polyphony (who I admire a lot) give us GT6 in 2013 and 10 years on from that they give us a game that has no real GT mode with long form championships and endurance events. Don't start me on the removal of classic tracks, they brought back Eiger Nordwand which is a great start but where is R246, Midfield etc. Sport mode is awesome and absolutely needed but it still lacks variety due to only 3 daily races, we have begged for years for PD to give us at least a race D all through GT Sport, modes like shuffle race returning from GT5 as a race D where track and PP or at least car are randomized would give a lot more replayability except they don't listen. I really want to play the game but I continue to play GT3/4/5/6 on emulator even when I'm mainly an online gamer because PD are ignorant. End of story. It hurts seeing Polyphony (who I admire a lot) give us GT6 in 2013 and 10 on from that they give us a game that has no soul. It is "enshittified" GT.
I agree in a way they should be a part of the campaign. This is what I would be doing, have the chilli pepper races in there becouse that is a fun challenge. They are by far the best races with grid start and better AI.
You need to take into consideration that some of the special events keep newer players not to be able to participate because they don't have the ability to get what is required it happened to me several times before I got to lvl 50 Kept me from getting the prize car a few times when they offered for completing all of the events In my opinion they could do more than 1 a week I get mine finished in less than a hour. great video's by the way
I think they need to add more varying events that allow more cars and better use for cars because I have many that I never use because they either never can be used in races or they are just useless compared to the other cars whether it be because of PP or type of car like so many street cars I can’t use in any races except for gt4 and up but they are useless in those events
I'd like to see everything type of race available on every track. Why can't I do a Hypercar race at Goodwood, or race classic cars around Le Mans, for example. Seems an unnecessary restriction. I know I can create custom races but if they already allow certain races on certain tracks, why limit what we can do?
Yeah, it's total waste of Dev resources if we never see the event ever again. Those man hours would be better spent adding more cars and new tracks. Can't wait for the 25th!
They need to stop BOP Regulations. If you have the car and the money to tune, you should be good to go. Also, no restrictions on Extreme. Once again, if you can afford it, what modify your car?
Be able to do any kind of race on any track. Why limit how many tracks we can do the hypercar race or historic masters. Never understood limiting our choices. Why can't I do a historic masters race at Le Mans or Hypercars event at Goodwood?

I really like to see them trash the invite system so we can purchase the cars that require a invite . Where the system was available but no longer is . But the cars are unavailable for credit purchase
If anything, make the game accessible for offline single player cause I find it wrong for the amount of money been spent on this game to own it just for them to shut it down in the future, making it unable for anyone to play the game whenever they feel like it.

Adding all the missing GR4,3,2 CARS that do not have a road version (assuming they were modeled) ..cheers. G90,Z4,M6,RS5, SC430 ......ALSO don't the GT Award winners not get a gr.4,3,2. ( in the fairytale land of the real driving simulator where VGT cars (versions) are used to pad the car count. Why not!! that's one (interesting or desirable) car for over 12 months.
If they can add proper single player campaign in gt sport they can do the same with GT7. The cafe mode isn't the same thing. Plus if you uninstall GT sport and reinstall it they give you a chance to start fresh. I HATE HATE the way that when I completed single player races in GT7 I can't restart the game fresh. I have absolutely no interest in increasing sonys ego by creating a new PSN account just to start single player fresh again. It's a feature that is in almost every single player game and it should be in GT7 too. It's been 11 months since I've played GT7 because I have no interest in it anymore unless I can start over. Plus all single player modes should be available to play when the game goes offline. It's pure BS that most of the game is unavailable if the server isn't available.

The 1 hour mission endurance races are actually pretty good. Need more of those if anything.

I want to see some sports wagons / estates like RS4 avant, M5 Touring, E Class AMG estate etc. And Some events for convertibles only, and bring in the Porsche Boxster, Ferrari Roma convertible / Portofino / California, etc. Some dedicated Kart tracks and kart events too.
Totally agree! They should implement the events in single-player mode. I was so enthusiastic about the Japanese Championship in Fuji, and didn't realize it was a temporary event. It felt so bad when I couldn't race it anymore!

They could use the music rally to bring back some of the classic GT tunes. Move the single make races into the brand central. Add more championships and more races to the existing ones . Make a hardcore mode where wear and tear last. Let us upload our own scapes. And color decals with the chrome and sparkly paints.

@@bigt43 I know exactly, barely any, especially if they auto delete within 90 days, so you have plenty of time to keep backups individually. But no race should every occur without each lap recorded, so even early quitting is recorded nearly completely, and bad behavior can easily be reported.

I'd like to see the fixed roulette system sorted - that's not changed since day 1, you often get the lowest rewards, or a set of cams; with the occasional car. Honestly it feels like 90% of my spin wins are 10-50k rewards

Adding one make races for popular models as was done in older GT games could pad out the events list with what I would assume to be minimal effort.
And most of us enjoyed playing them…….. so it was removed, and replaced by a livery editor that only a cad designer would be able to use

I would absolutely LOVE to see a Race-spec fuel tank upgrade just so we can make road cars viable in endurance races.
Also, better custom race AI, because the last one always does it best to be the slowest... It feels dumb.
And more upgrades/aero parts for some cars. For instance, if we wont have race versions of the likes of the Diablo, 911 GT1, F40, F50... We should at least have access to the tools to make them like some weight reductions and Aero parts

Absolutely spot on. For instance: I think anyone who has been a fan of GT has been waiting for the JGTC for ages. The events themselves have been absolutely fantastic and I have bought and built every JGTC car to just play them on repeat. How they have not (yet?) made them into a fixed series is beyond me. But they will have to make up a lot of ground. I feel like we have been missing out on so much so to give us enough to satisfy our hunger will mean they will have to shift in overdrive. I want to be back at about 40% of event completed to have enough incentive to keep playing. I am expecting a lot of next week’s update but I’m afraid that even though it features an E36 M3 and an Impreza WRC + a new track, it will not be enough to keep us happy for very long… let’s hope this is just the beginning.

Does anyone else agree that the Goodwood hill climb would be a great addition to the track lists... Even if it was just to test your car's on when tuning them. All the different categories and weather etc would be so much fun.
I want the new physics to actually give reasonable feel to slip angle. It blows my mind how this game has the 2020 iRacing issue and they've never fixed it. Just give us that feel at the edge of grip instead of needing to constantly go under.

Apart from everything people are saying (which I agree), I think a far more adjustable Field of View in cockpit view would change the game completely, it would be so much fun to play by simply being able to see things around and you also get an increased sensation of speed as a bonus...

Brilliant point. However, Polyphony know that building up the offline would come at the cost of online attendance. Like many other developers they seem dead focused on forcing players online. It's a shame and the reason this will be my last GT purchase.
Would love to see some sort of development into more drift related events, we had what 4-5 drift related events in the missions. They have drift lobbies online but no way to actually battle properly without dedicated players trying to watch replays or on corners!

That's what we do. So much better as you are driving with guys you know and trust can have good, clean racing with. The only limitation is your imagination on creating races. I made up all kinds of scenarios for the FLUMP series I ran. One would be a fuel saver, where the French were on strike so refuelling in the pits was set at 1L/sec😂. Another, continental wanted us to test a new tire, I set the tire wear really high, all compounds mandatory. Thunderstorms in Croatia, each race was very different to the next. Fun was the name of the game.

More chili pepper races is very possible, new championchips would be a dream, maybe endurance races, i still think there is good chance we get some good stuff, given how much spec ll did and that had less going on in the trailer than 1,49 update
But it feels to me that pd waiting until thry can integrate sophy into single player before adding much championchips or endurance races, i would prefer a more gt league style career but doubt the structure would change so late down the line.

More championships are needed too. Take these categories and string several races together into a Championship - it doesn't sound too difficult to me.
There are so many possibilities within the full car and track roster that we should really have a wealth of single player content.
As a average player I would like to see more single player content. I have only raced online a handful of times, when I do I just get smoked and it's not much fun.
GT7 needs to fix offline mode. Simply driving to get credits to collect cars is boring. 1) Create a proper career mode where you climb through racing categories. 2) Create specific racing categories to give you a purpose on road car modifications (e.g. Touring car racing 1.8-2.3L, 300hp, min. 1,100 kg, mandatory racing parts) and create a championship with that using users created liveries. 3) Improve CPU offline skills as some races are too easy 4) Add qualifying sections to avoid event races to be just overtake all cars 5) add more real cars (and not necessarily supercars) and real tracks
AI is absolutely shocking. Give us race AI and race options like that in ACC and this would definitely make this game a sim beater!!
I mostly play custom races, with liveries downloaded and made by the GT7 community. Example would be ive downloaded F1 2008 season liveries for the f1 cars. The only thing is in custome races you dont get all the bells and whistles that you would have in the single player campaign. Example would be in the campaign you would have the red arrows fly by at the start of a race, or the pit crew come out at the end of the race. The N24 has 3 versions of spectators. Time trial has no spectators, custom race has spectators, but in a campaign race (800s) the spectators are in full swing. You see thr bbq smoke and can hear music etc. I wish they allowed all of this for custom races too. I find the campaign boring, and i dont play online but enjoy setting up races the way i like with the liveries i have.
I really wish for them to add more championships and some kind of free roam where maybe a big track with all of the variations where you could drive, also the ability to choose different wheel sizes for front and back, amd different tyre sizes as well!
This is actually a really good idea. I imagine that the reason why they want to have special weekly events, is because they want the game to function as a semi live-service game. It's what every other live-service game does. But keeping the events in the singleplayer doesn't meaningfully take away from the novelty that's supposed to hook the players in every week. It's a low effort solution - since they already have to make the events anyways -, and it doesn't hurt the game's monetisation. We should really be pushing them to release all the previous events permanently, and to keep every new event in the roster from now on.
Adding all those events + substituting the current AI for Sophy in every event, I think are the most important improvements the game needs.
I wish they would bring back prize cars for winning championships/events.
More championsjps, let us use GT Sophie tracks and inckude GT Sophie into the custom race option, but take out the silly emojis. Make the special events permanent for offline/single player mode. Let us sell parts. These would be good places to start. Always more tracks please.

I'm in agreement. Make the special events a permanent piece in the single player experience ESPECIALLY the single make races. Going back to GT2, those races were the fun and exciting. Pay was meh sometimes but the action was high. High drama, if you will. I wanna see more single make racing

Only couple of things i would want is, better economy, better payouts or the chance to win multiple cars for the same even, bring back B SPEC from GT5 that way you can still earn credits while your out and about etc 😉, for me GT5 was amazing lots of tracks loads of cars and just in general loads more fun 😁 go back to that pleaseeeeeeeee
the 5 Weekly Events wise they may be Weekly but i smash them out in 2 hrs ore less just to get them done then i go to grind other tracks for cash. if they had made them x3 Payout of the Norm id considder making them Grindable. but as it stands now not worth it. easier grinds elswhere
More hyper cars, more modern gt3 cars. Where the fuck is Holden and Aussie fords? More F1 cars would be nice too.
I have said this before, but if they had a number based difficulty instead of the easy medium and hard it would feel way better, if they had a 0-110 or something similar to the f1 games and maybe a little better rubber banding overall, gt7 would be way more enjoyable

These events are easily creatable in q custom race provided you own the cars to add into the custom race. But there really isn't any reason to add every one of them to the game when we are able to do this. PD is basically giving us a custom race that we ourselves can create. I would like the ability to add Sophy to the custom race though. That would be really cool.
Besides if they added the custom race permanently every week, the game would require more storage space throughout the year that some people simply don't have. Just a fact.
@@boosted0079 the space required to store parameters would be miniscule if done properly, we're talking about a text file or database entry with the details in it and some thumbnails for display in the menus
I'd wager that each race would only require maybe 10MB of space, and considering that we've only had what? 40 weeks of content added this way, the total amount so far would at worst account for a gigabyte or two of additional storage.
The individual updates themselves each take up nearly that much if not more

I just don't think it's completely necessary to add every special event from every weekly challenge.
More freedoms in the custom race settings would be nice. Something allowing us to build custom championship series for example. With reasonable payouts.
I agree with you ,Gt7 for the single player is the worst of 5,6, and sport we could go back further but. I don't do much line racing itdont turn me on.
Gt6 and sport was bad as well maybe even worse than gt7 in some aspects for the career mode, gt5 was the last with a really good one sadly.
Livery Editor needs a complete overhaul! custom paint colors have only 3 options solid, metallic & pearl There's only 1 color adjustment ... SMH with metallic paint there should be two colors to adjust base & pearl then clear coat. Midnight Club LA in 2008 had that option! NEED For Speed has more options. What happened to Qualifying? I'm fed up with chase the rabbit!
I've barely played GT7 since launch (Although I did beat campaign, gold all licenses and circuit experience) and this is why. As someone who's been invested in the series since 2003 it hurts seeing Polyphony (who I admire a lot) give us GT6 in 2013 and 10 years on from that they give us a game that has no real GT mode with long form championships and endurance events. Don't start me on the removal of classic tracks, they brought back Eiger Nordwand which is a great start but where is R246, Midfield etc.
Sport mode is awesome and absolutely needed but it still lacks variety due to only 3 daily races, we have begged for years for PD to give us at least a race D all through GT Sport, modes like shuffle race returning from GT5 as a race D where track and PP or at least car are randomized would give a lot more replayability except they don't listen.
I really want to play the game but I continue to play GT3/4/5/6 on emulator even when I'm mainly an online gamer because PD are ignorant. End of story. It hurts seeing Polyphony (who I admire a lot) give us GT6 in 2013 and 10 on from that they give us a game that has no soul. It is "enshittified" GT.

I agree in a way they should be a part of the campaign. This is what I would be doing, have the chilli pepper races in there becouse that is a fun challenge. They are by far the best races with grid start and better AI.

You need to take into consideration that some of the special events keep newer players not to be able to participate because they don't have the ability to get what is required it happened to me several times before I got to lvl 50
Kept me from getting the prize car a few times when they offered for completing all of the events In my opinion they could do more than 1 a week I get mine finished in less than a hour. great video's by the way
I think they need to add more varying events that allow more cars and better use for cars because I have many that I never use because they either never can be used in races or they are just useless compared to the other cars whether it be because of PP or type of car like so many street cars I can’t use in any races except for gt4 and up but they are useless in those events
I'd like to see everything type of race available on every track. Why can't I do a Hypercar race at Goodwood, or race classic cars around Le Mans, for example. Seems an unnecessary restriction. I know I can create custom races but if they already allow certain races on certain tracks, why limit what we can do?
Yeah, it's total waste of Dev resources if we never see the event ever again. Those man hours would be better spent adding more cars and new tracks. Can't wait for the 25th!

Be able to do any kind of race on any track. Why limit how many tracks we can do the hypercar race or historic masters. Never understood limiting our choices. Why can't I do a historic masters race at Le Mans or Hypercars event at Goodwood?

If anything, make the game accessible for offline single player cause I find it wrong for the amount of money been spent on this game to own it just for them to shut it down in the future, making it unable for anyone to play the game whenever they feel like it.

Adding all the missing GR4,3,2 CARS that do not have a road version (assuming they were modeled) ..cheers. G90,Z4,M6,RS5, SC430 ......ALSO don't the GT Award winners not get a gr.4,3,2. ( in the fairytale land of the real driving simulator where VGT cars (versions) are used to pad the car count. Why not!! that's one (interesting or desirable) car for over 12 months.

I think the payouts are just right. If it becomes too easy to make money then getting expensive cars doesn’t feel special.
If they can add proper single player campaign in gt sport they can do the same with GT7. The cafe mode isn't the same thing. Plus if you uninstall GT sport and reinstall it they give you a chance to start fresh. I HATE HATE the way that when I completed single player races in GT7 I can't restart the game fresh.
I have absolutely no interest in increasing sonys ego by creating a new PSN account just to start single player fresh again. It's a feature that is in almost every single player game and it should be in GT7 too.
It's been 11 months since I've played GT7 because I have no interest in it anymore unless I can start over.
Plus all single player modes should be available to play when the game goes offline. It's pure BS that most of the game is unavailable if the server isn't available.
