Bullfighting is a loathsome cruel tradition and there is word that it will be a thing of the past soon , as will the running bulls. I really enjoy your vids and glad you don't go to them but please don't say you must tolerate it just because you are visitors. A bull has the same sentient feelings as your little Chico. İt's not a fair fight, it's hideous abuse. I cheer every time I hear that the cowardly matador is bored 😢😢
we don’t tolerate it maggie it’s awful but it was a part of spain as there is one in every city we go to i for one would live it to be stopped ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Bill fighting is disgustingly cruel. They apply grease to bulls eyes to affect vision and stab them to annoy them before the fight starts Not sure why you wanted to show the bull ring. It’s outdated.
hi lindsay we showed the bull ring as it is part of the culture and history of spain we did say it wasn’t something we would like to watch and didn’t put a clip on of a bull fight for that reason i agree on the cruelty side but i don’t force my views on to my viewers ❤️❤️
I agree,just because you are in a country that supports it doesn't mean it needs to be shown. I also hope the horses doing tours get regular water, I noticed the first one tied to a tree didn't.
One of the most cruelest death for bulls, such pain that goes on until final death administered by a human being……..

Or check out Santa Pola, about an hour south of Benidorm. You will not be disappointed. Shops, bars, beach, castle, clothes, shoes, bags... a marina an great food. Loads and loads to do.

The heat is like when you open your oven door and a waft of hot air hits you😣 yep know the feeling,that's why my favourite seasons are spring and Autumn, many years of geoenginering weather modification has contributed to crazy global weather patterns 😐
We have lived in Andalucia for 18 years and tremors happen all the time if you Google it you will see there has been over 6000 in the last year😮

totally agree but we where mor interested in the history of the building we certainly do not endorse bull fighting
Hopefully it will die with better education, also the hanging and poisoning of galgo hunting dogs and the horses that are forced to pull cartloads of fat people around in that kind of heat. Mediterranean people can be incredibly cruel towards animals😢

Spent loads of time in Puerto de Santa Maria & still have a few friends there. I'll be near there week after next up at Jerez race circuit. Next week Im in Estoril in Portugal - not looking forward to working in the heat though ! Keep up the good vids guys & look forward to seeing you again soon.

Lisa to say port of santa maria its pronounced pwerto santa maria. ❤ I wish bullfighting was banned! Same as foxhunting in the uk. Anyone involved in going to see/do it (the action part) is an absolute 🔔 end in my opinion. I love seeing matadors getting skeward

When we had an earthquake a few years ago I slept through it. Next day our local postmaster said so Yvonne did you feel the earth move last night, I said don't be disgusting. He then explained and I apologised lol. Xx

When your outside the bull fighting ring talking about the statue is the first time it goes off, it doesn’t happen on any one else vlog that I watch, that’s why I asked has anyone else mentioned it x

Tinto de verano is what that drink is called, we used to have it in our bar from the tap with alcohol, my wife loves it, we only just bought 10x 1.5 litre bottles 3 days ago in the local supermarket at only 0.99 per bottle...I like it though I prefer to make my own with real red wine, non of that non-alcohol stuff...and with plenty of ice too! Hope you get to visit other small and interesting towns/villages in Spain, not the usual Marbella, Estepona, Benalmadena, etc places were british people tend to visit...but if you do...stay away from the touristy places, bars and restaurants, and get into the real old part of the town as you will find much better quality food and most importantly, cheaper prices! Nice video. We like that town. Now, the weather. We have lived here 17yrs and never had it this hot. All the locals are saying the same. We are in survival mode. It's one wave of heat after the next. It's not unusual to have earth tremourers. You get them all the time here. Love to chico.

Cadiz is a funny place to find a parkup! However there is beautiful free park up just on the road into cadiz that will fit anysize van and is free to stay

Can highly recommend a visit to Conil de la frontera, Fuente del Gallo or Cape Trafalger on the way to Tarifa and Gibraltar (as you are in the area) it’s beUtiful there 👍

If you go to 100 Montaditos on Wednesday or Sunday, most dishes are only €1.00 - so even cheaper. Tinto de verano is only Redwine mixed usually with lemonade. Very refreshing on a hot day and not as powerful as a sangria

mark bought a heavy duty chain and we use a combination lock that was bought separately

We stopped off at Segovia as there was a free aire at the bullring - might still be? The whole town is impressive there but we didn't realise bull fighting was so big until then.
