This was such a memorable moment of that marvellous concert. Eddie chatting with the crowd, as he tends to do, about meaningful stuff. He describes the situation in his home country, where they would be returning the following day as it was end of this leg of tour, as "in pain". Little did we know then, while enjoying the amazing music these guys always bring to us, that almost coincidentally in time, (check out the time zones), one of the most tragic events in American history was being made. Wondering how they will all feel in their upcoming concerts in that home country, where so much nastiness is being extended by the political divides the nation is falling into, ever deeper it seems. They couldn't have chosen a more momentous song than Imagine. Love and LOVE, and health, to all. That's all we need, to be able to create the economy that Americans seem so damn obsessed about, and has brought them to their knees as a society.
