  • Join the Broadway Bradshaws as they travel to Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale to sail 5 nights on the Disney Dream to Castaway Cay and Cozumel, Mexico. Marvel Day at sea is on Day 2!
    Jared, Lindsay and Georgia Bradshaw took a few days off from working at Walt Disney World in Disney's Animal Kingdom to visit our friend from Wicked on Broadway: Bret Shuford of the @BroadwayHusbands. Bret is a Broadway guest artist and stars in Believe and the amazing Beauty and the Beast musical. Bret was also in the Broadway productions of The Little Mermaid, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Paramour and Amazing Grace.
    Jared had previously worked on the Disney wonder in 2001, and they sailed this past year on the Disney Wish. This Fall, the Broadway Bradshaws set sail with Disney Cruise Line on the Disney Magic to their new island destination in The Bahamas: Lighthouse Point. This means the Disney Fantasy is the only ship they will have to get on the calendar next! and of course, the Disney Treasure coming up.
    The kids club is amazing on this ship as always, and our first night onboard was the sail away party, and The Golden Mickeys musical. Dinner for the first night was in the Enchanted Garden, and Bret joined us ! come along for the fun! and don't forget...if you like our vibe, you should subscribe!

    The Disney Dream cruise ship this does indeed bring back such great memories of when i use to be a kid so as adult i like to imagine The Disney Dream Cruise Ship as the ultimate battleship fighting giant sea monsters and the strongest monster Godzilla as well:).

    Looks like ya'll had a great first day. I had to get new glasses last week and I thought about Georgia. I have a very small head and have to get kid's glasses, not a lot of options.

    I have never seen the following situation addressed by anyone, since you use the Kid’s Club I hope you can offer insight.
    If there is a ship emergency, you are called to Muster, and your child/children are in the Kid’s Clubs what happens? Do the Cast Member evacuate the children to a safe space or wait for a guardian to pick up the children? I’ve never cruised and am quite curious. Thank you so much!!

    We are thinking of taking our 4 year old grandson on a Disney cruise. Which of the Disney ships, do you think, is the best? Thanks for the great review of your first day. Looking forward to seeing your dinner at Remy’s?

      They are all truly magic and unique. I loved the dining on the wish more. And that incredibles inflatable course is so cool. Seriously. Take the cheapest one. They are all stellar! The kids clubs are amazing

      I would think you could. For merchandise. But I don’t officially know. Sorry that’s no help I doubt for drinks etc

      @@framilytravel9734 everything gets charged to your stateroom onboard but you can take the giftcard to guest services and they will credit it towards your shipboard account balance. i'm not 100% sure what happens if you don't spend the full amount of the card. my guess is any remaining credit on the account goes back on the card, so don't ditch the card, but i recommend asking/confirming with actual disney employees so you can be sure of the policy. another option is to use a giftcard to purchase onboard credit before boarding (you do that through the place where you can buy the "gifts" to be waiting in the cabin when you board) and that credit will already be on your room account

    I have to ask. Why were you allowed to film the show? They are very clear that no video is allowed. Were you given special permission for your vlogs?

    • @framilytravel9734
      @framilytravel9734  Před 5 měsíci +1

      It’s very odd. They didn’t mind during the magic show or the dr strange show or or golden mickeys. Beauty and they beast they were very strict and believe also. It seems like certain shows were off limits.

    • @carriemartellWDW
      @carriemartellWDW Před 5 měsíci

      @@sglo87 I’m not positive but I think it’s a screen that plays live views from a camera on the ship and they sprinkle in little visitors like tinker bell etc. It’s an interior room so they technically don’t have a view… but a little Disney magic gave them one with this clever design.

    • @sglo87
      @sglo87 Před 5 měsíci

      @@carriemartellWDWoh yeah, I know its not real 😄 I was just wondering because Jared said it was a live view via video and that their cabin was in the front of the ship. But that looks like a rear “view”. I have no first hand experience so I was really curious how accurate it was. I can’t imagine every interior cabin would have a real-time view, but it would be amazing.
