My dear child ,you are honest and sincere.The thing is that some egoist muslims in India have replaced some lexical Hindi words with some Arabic and Persian words and that is Urdu otherwise there is no difference between the two languages.Hindi is written in Devnagari script whereas Urdu in Arabic. I myself is non-Hindi, unable to write it.
