    Host clubs more recently have english speaking hosts from english speaking countries. They are now catering for english speaking guests, so are learning the language.

    Love your video! ! ! 2500 yen for first time is a bit pricy . There are places only cost 1000 yen for 60 mins and those are legit host club not some sketchy places , which is a great deal for all you can drink. I even went to a place cost only 500 yen, me and my friend were a bit scared thought maybe its a scam, but at the end they only charge us 500 yen nothing more, definitely cheaper than drinking at other places. Those were some good times. LOL Hope you will make more storytime video. :D

      I did 1000 yen back in the day but I thought 2500 was a good price because of inflation LOL if I go again I’ll ask for 1000 one more time 😌 thanks for the tip!

      As first timer you cannot know how host clubs really work. You only see 10 boys rotating then you have to pick one and never be able to change after. You still can look regulars at other tables who flirt with their host, you might witness a 'champagne call' and have a feeling of how much money is spent in those bars. But the rich women purchasing bottles of champagne towers for 50 000 dollars are mostly working in the night life industry themselves. The first time is very cheap and an attempt to get new customers, they don't earn anything with this kind of patrons. It is why most clubs refuse non Japanese women, they know the will never come back and spend a lot of cash. Clubs and hosts need regular, then addicted girls.

    What is it about the host experience that differs from normal men hitting on you in a regular bar/nightclub?

    • @CapsuleBunny
      @CapsuleBunny  Před 2 lety +13

      It’s very different! It’s a safe environment, the hosts are professionals that are there just to talk and entertain you. Because it’s associated to their job they’re probably not going to hurt or act badly towards you!
