This scene involving the waterfall is a very memorable scene.
Only barbossa can laugh in the midst of chaos. LOL
I love how Barbossa just laughs at 2:58 while everyone else is freaking out
Why has nobody commented on this:
While the sounds after the waterfall are indeed ripped from the actual ride, There are several bits of dialouge from the ride scarcely hidden throughout the movie as well.
For example, in the Maelstrom:
"There be no altering course now mateys!"
And here:
"Don't be so unkind, Ye may not survive to pass this way again, and these be the last friendly words you'll hear"
Are both little tributes to the ride on their own, Just a fun little easter egg to know~

You are saying that Hector Barbossa isn't that bad... Hector Barbossa was the person who started a mutiny against Captain Jack Sparrow. He left Captain Jack Sparrow behind on an uninhabited island with a pistol with only on bullet. He took over the Black Pearl.
