Unrelated: I saw the new Batman and you were so right, this one is the absolute best. Everything from top to bottom was amazing, even down to using "Something in the Way".
Elysium is more sharp, more smoky, like creed, more for men plus you can get it for discount around 180, lv in other hand is more watery not, better for hot hot summer, you cant get a dollar from it, but you can get refill for only 170 after that, lv is better value in long run last longer too, about 7 only skin, elysium only about 5 on skin
Biggest difference for me is the amount of vetiver I get from Elysium. It gives it a grassy and classically masculine nature. While it's more simple than his others, it has that signature Roja complexity. Afternoon Swim is primarily a citrus fragrance. They do list ginger and ambergris as notes, but they're primarily there to support the citrus. I can't really pick them out myself. Both are great fragrances, you can't really go wrong with either.
Not sure if anyone has corrected you but for the Louis refills, it has to be the same fragrance as the bottle. Mixing a new fragrance into the bottle would mix oils inside and create an odd scent. Also i know its less for the refill but not sure if the refill is 50% off the refill
It’s crazy how I do kind of smell pineapple in Elysium but I looked at the notes, I didn’t see pineapple listed. Regardless, I picked up a sample and I love the citrusy smokiness it has. You’re right about performance, I definitely had to overspray and it didn’t last that long. Projections lacks a little too. I love afternoon swim as always Great video!
Cool video. I have both but never thought to compare them. Do you have LV Ombré Nomade or Le Sable Roses? Both great fragrances. The latter doesn’t have good longevity but it’s beautiful. Would like to see you review them when you get a chance.

Have you had a chance to get your nose on the Supernova Cologne special edition by DUA? It is an Elysium clone. Smells amazing. Very close to the original. Would be very curious to know what you think about it after hearing what you thought about CDNM by Armaf compared to Aventus.

I swear no one in San Diego wears fragrance. I’ve honestly never walked by someone at the mall or in a store , in my daily errands, and walked by someone where I said “damn he/ she’s wearing a fragrance!” Because of this I feel like I’m scaring people when I wear a Roja or Creed
I live in San Diego and feel the same way. The times I'll smell a fragrance is if its on a female friend or a random stranger out and about. You can wear almost pretty much anything and set yourself apart and not really smell like other people, which is our benefit

I have smelled plenty of blue designers and like them all but when I first smelled Elysium (unlabeled sample, so I wasn’t even biased) I was blown away. To each their own. The price point is painful though.
