Thanks for posting. I was using some 40 pound mono for a leader to use for large catfish and needed a solid loop end. A simple overhand loop knot, the kryston knot and the perfection knot slipped out every time. This does not and I will be using it from now on. Thanks again.
Informative video. Great job. Never even considered using this for my flies. Definitely going to try it. Thanks. I’m a new fly fisherman, that probably explains a lot. Hahahaha. 😎🤙
That's the Trilene Loop knot. We use it for inshore fishing with Pline CFX leader material. I don't recommend that knot with mono cuz mono doesn't hold up to the stress point of the knot as well like fluorocarbon does.
The best fishing knot is a simple knot that works for every tie you need to make - the uni-knot. Tie your lure with a uni and you have a super strong, ADJUSTABLE loop. The uni is a slip knot, so the loop will remain at the size you choose until the fish hits. When hooked up, the loop closes on the ring-eye of the lure. When you've landed the fish and are ready to cast again, just slip the knot back a bit to re-open the loop.
I used the uni-knot for everything for years until a friend showed me this knot. The uni has the tag facing forward and catches weeds, this the tag faces back and doesn't catch anything. Makes a huge difference if you fish grass and weed lines.
Thanks mate that will come in handy 🇦🇺
Thank you! That was awesome
Thanks for the feedback!

I Catch many fluke with these amazingly sharp and effective hooks.
good method because it shows how to adjust the loop size
Thanks for watching. we hope it helps!
Great video...
Now I use this knot regularly however I only go around the main line once or twice depending on line size and have never had a fail..

Thanks for the video, great shop too if any of you have chance to go to it

Nice demonstration. It sure seems like this knot is similar or the same as a perfection loop knot.
Yes very similar. Thanks for watching!

Salam satu hobi sangat bermanfaat ilmunya salam dari pemula..
I don’t think the tag end is supposed to go through the same side of the overhand, unless I didn’t see it right!
Tying a loop knot to an offset eye meant for snelling...hmmm...I see trouble ahead...
पहले ही वीडियो देख लेता तो, मेरा एक वोपर डोपर, नहीं खोता,
800रुपये, था, बहोत बुरा लगा,
Thanks for that.......better keep my finger away from that hook...Mmmm
Thanks for watching!
Although you did this knot correctly, you didn't state something that is very important.
