- The last hunt in this series takes us to Texas in February of 2017. This time Mark is after his first Aoudad with a muzzleloader. Aoudad were introduced to Texas as an exotic species and it didn't take long for them to establish a large viable population in the ideal habitat that West Texas offers. Going into this hunt with the confidence and extended range that only Gunwerks can provide, Mark knows the odds are in his favor and it doesn't take long to come across multiple bands of rams. I have to admit I haven’t noticed any particular stinky smell on them. But that could also be because I sweating like crazy each time and didn’t smell the best either 😂

No it is not.
Hunting on my brother in laws 30ac, (Yes just 30ac) property in West TX two of these jumped the fence about 125yds away, so I shot it. Tried to eat it, that didn't turn out well. Cost...$50 for exotic tag. Guess what I'm saying wasn't a big deal.

No it is not.
What did it end up scoring? 29?
I am not sure, I don't think I ever scored him honestly.
