FAQ
• Why GH3 instead of Clone Hero?
- Clone Hero gamepad mode is a bit messy, mainly the forced notes. To have a consistent fast strum is nearly impossible. Additionaly, there's an issue with the double/triple chords: if you hold down one color and press the other(s), then you'll hit the chord. And finally the master shit: in the CH button mapping is something possible. That being said, we can map the right analog stick as a strum bar!! But that is not even close to be fair. "Well, why not?" Because there's nothing like that, in none of the official GHs.
• How do you fast strum?
- GH3 engine is a bless: right notes (red, yellow, blue and orange) can be strummed using the notes from their left. So we can strum red using the green; yellow using the green and red; blue using green, red and yellow; orange using green, red, yellow and blue. There’s no trick for green notes, so it’s basically alt tapping using both hands. That being said, the impossible is now possible. It’s just a matter of practice and speed.

Valeu cara. Mudar as cores no GH3PC é simples, o pessoal fazia um pack pronto, que chamavam de ZONES (que tb é o nome da pasta das texturas). Tem alguns vídeos no meu canal com link pra download.

Do you use Dualshock 1 or 2? I find that 1 feels better for Guitar Hero. My biggest issue is how the buttons feel mushy after playing for a while (probably heat). Awesome video
Dualshock 2. Mine also feel mushy after a couple songs.
Just wanna let you know:
You can run a dualshock 4 wired and increase the polling rate to 1000hz using a tool called hidusbf-master
I use it for Rocket League and it makes the controller so much more responsive
It would be great if it was possible with a dualshock 2. The dualshock 4 anatomy is not the best for some techniques I'm used to apply (like the green note fast strum).

GH3 PC + OBS Studio for recording. Solo B is harder to get consistency, but the solo C has that chokable fast strum at the beginning (1/3 times hitting the solo B I choke right there).

How did you do it in 3:06. I am having a hard time hitting that green as my left middle finger seems to be weak.
I hold green and do a quick let go, then repeat. It’s not that difficult to get the hang of it, but hitting the whole bridge consistently can take some time.

On GH3 (either console or PC versions) notes from the right (red, yellow, blue and orange) can be strummed using the notes from their left. So we can strum red using the green; yellow using the green and red; blue using green, red and yellow; orange using green, red, yellow and blue. There's no trick for green notes, only alt tapping. And a curiosity: devs implemented the same in Clone Hero (gamepad mode). So, what I did was to hit the 1st yellow "normally", and while I kept holding it, I pressed green to hit the sustained yellow.

Amigo, vc tem algum mod instalado pra poder segurar a tecla e ela tocar automaticamente ou é normal do ps? No 360 isso nao funciona, tornando FCs nessas musicas impossível.
Isso de segurar funciona com notas do tipo "hammer on" (essas com uma "luz" no topo), é recurso do próprio jogo mesmo. Porém, você só pode segurar as notas do lado esquerdo e ir apertando as notas do lado direito. Se fizer o oposto não funciona.
Hola buenas estoy empezando ahora con clone hero y me gustaría saber si hay alguna página o algo así para consejos de jugar con DualShock ya que aquí en Jordan haces unas técnicas que jamás e visto. Como por ejemplo mantener 2 botones a la vez verde y rojo creía que no se podía. Seguro que son preguntas básicas pero si hay algún tutorial por internet me gustaría saberlo. Me lo estoy enserio y creo que puedo dar muy buen nivel

You can hold the notes positioned on the right part of the fretboard and strum them using the ones on the left. Example: hold the yellow and strum them alternating the green and red. This is a feature in every console - PS2, X360, PS3 and PC - but only in GH3 (and now in Clone Hero too).

This is crazy, but not enough for me. Because you play this on gh3 program where you can hit lower note with only hold it. Try it with gh2 program, thats would be insane.
Maybe when someone FC Jordan twice just like I did? No, not even if someone does. I already did a lot of insane stuff on GH2 and have not to prove anything for anyone. If it's not enough, I think you should go for it yourself.

Nesse caso são notas hopos (hammer ons/pull offs), onde você pode segurar a nota mais à esquerda e bater as da direita, que as da esquerda vão ser contabilizadas também. Não dá pra ser feito o oposto (segurar as da direita e bater as da esquerda). Esse recurso existe desde o GH1 (apesar de muito ruim) pras guitarrinhas, e no controle existe desde o GH3 (Clone Hero atualmente tem o mesmo recurso).

Tenho 45/47 FCs no jogo oficial (tem alguns vídeos no canal) e já fiz Decontrol e BatM no GH3. No GH1 a Decontrol é impossível, a BatM foi falta de insistir.
