As cursed as they may have been, the episodes animated by Element Animation are SUPER nostalgic to me.
Same, but oddly I didn't really associate them with Terraria oddly, but damn these are some classics imo. Though TBH I wasn't into Terraria at the time and I hadn't watched past the ElementAnimation episodes.

When I was 7-8ish I got a pack of terraria toys for Christmas and had no clue what the game was. I didnt play the game for another 5-6 years and when I was fighting the eye of cuthulu I had a mental flashbang to the show and toys.

I had like one figure that had silver armor on, I think I lost It. I also had a terraria T-shirt of a Terrarian In the corruption armor after the EOW (forgot what It’s called) with a corrupt bunny by him, and this was like when I never heard of the game. I guess was foreshadowed to play terraria after all.

its weird to me how inconsistent this show is with staying lore accurate, the love subplot between the goblin tinkerer and Amy (aka the mechanic) is canon to the game but they couldn't even get the fact that The Twins are a mechanical boss correct, also I guess the fact that Amy is an outsider could hint to the fact in the games you first encounter the mechanic locked in the dungeon??
Lets not forget that that Old man looking guy implies the Skeletron isn't dead, and Mechanic being a psot skeletron npc.

It’s sad that Scott Yakiwchuk (One of the original VAs from season 1) died around the start of 2015, at least he didn’t get to see how shitty the animation got after episode 7
They oughta make a new TV series that’s an adaptation of the Terraria graphic novel. One of the devs even said they’re interested in TV adaptations on forums.

Eh, it kinda has the Brawl Stars style to it, but yeah, I cans ee the resemblance.
From what I remember, the reason as to why Element Animation stopped making the series was because Scott Stoked, a prominent voice actor and member of element animation who voiced many of the channel’s characters such as Steve, the pirate, and the demolitionist, had died to a heart attack :( I remember watching the “memorial” video as a kid, and once the new episode for the terraria series released with a different team making it I remember very much noticing the whiplash in quality haha.
It’s really sad tho, Scott had a very distinct voice in Element Animation’s videos, especially as Steve, and because of that the channel struggled to figure out what to do with many of its series (especially an egg’s guide to Minecraft).
Anyhoo, just wanted to drop this here for those still wondering why element animation stopped making the series, really fun video! ^^

One of the things I remember from some terraria animation was how the enemies were gotten wrong, the spiders or creepers as they are called in game were friendly to the protagonists rather than true to how they are in the game
Also the skeleton. Skeletons are not friendly in the game, and the ONE skeleton that is (the Skeleton Merchant) didn't even exist when the series was made.
Unironically I remember really enjoying the First couple of episodes, it had a vibe to it yk

Also the fact that this show actually predates most of the lore in the game, as the Bestiary and Anniversary Lore stuff was added way, WAY later. The only lore thing that existed in the game prior was the relationship between the Mechanic and Goblin Tinkerer. (And, to a lesser extent, the Arms Dealer and Nurse)

I did watch the Twins episode long ago at Element Animation, but never get to watch the full series. Watching this video talking about this “Terraria show”, I believe that every episode doesn’t make sense compared to the actual game.

now that i notice that the world is hardcore since both the twins and the pirate npc are exclusive to it so that means dude killed the wall of flesh in gold armor
I think you mean hard mode. Hardcore is when you set your character to have permadeath and isn't specifically a world setting

When I was like 9, I was really into Terraria. I saw that series pop up in my fyp when I was watching Villager News, and I watched it through. Honestly, I found it somewhat entertaining.

These terraria toys kinda remind of the Tubeheros toy line that Jazwares made for like Minecraft CZcamsrs, I still have a danTDM plushie from that line, but those toys and the Tubeheros toys literally almost have the same artstyle
