  • Pudsey Clough is a beautiful steep wooded valley in Cornholme, Todmorden. With a river running through it, like most valleys in Calderdale, mills were built to harness the power of water, and here once stood Pudsey Mill, a former Brickworks.
We've really only missed exploring the full ruins by a few years, but there are pieces of evidence of the mill still here today.
Further upstream is Pudsey Clough itself, a stunning area with cascading waterfalls and walks. Certainly a good spot for a picnic 😊

Rochdale rubber company nothing left just remains of flat land used to work there. then a walk up to Fraggal rock where we used to hang out then the waterfall pool always cold as it is in the shade.
then walk up to the Frying pan and then the sunny pool. Used to dam that bugger up up get it deep 😂
