Praise God for your testimony. My Dad had a low German radio program called De Goode Norecht which aired in Paraguay, Mexico, and Canada. Your music is so meaningful! Do you also write or translate Christmas songs? So many wonderful songs that would be great moved from English to our 1st language of Low German.
The Bible says if we do not praise then even the rocks will cry out. :) The Lord redeems cultures and music styles around the world. Throughout Scripture our Heavenly Father uses whomever and whatever He wants. He takes shepherds who play harp and raises them to be Kings. He takes donkeys and speaks through them. He used a whale to save Jonah. He is unlimited by our thoughts. His ways are higher. A very young unwed girl became pregnant by the Holy Spirit and gave birth to our Saviour. She sang too. There is not much our God cannot use and do for His purposes. Praise God He continues to do His will and His purpose through unworthy people like you and I. Creating the world in 7 days where He said and it was! Recreating my life instantly as I confessed my sin and transforming me from death to eternal life was a greater miracle. Our music heritage as Mennonites was shaped through persecution which is why we went away from instruments. It was hard and unwise to play them in the caves and homes where we worshipped in fear of being caught and murdered for our faith as we left the state churches of Europe to seek personal relationship and communication with Jesus.
