Adult King Cobras sit at the top of food chain.
They are immune to all types of snake venom including their own (yes when they kill their own, they eat them mostly alive coz they cannot kill their own).
Although under 2-3 year king Cobras are vulnerable to mongoose attacks, they aren’t attacked in most cases.
They can certain kill a Mamba.
However, when it comes to humans, King Cobras prefer to escape than confront unless they are guarding their nest.

About 5 years ago or so, someone posted sn actual fight between the two species in a pit. The king cobra was around 14 or 15 ft and I seem to remember the mamba was close to 9 ft long. The fight started with the king stalking rapidly with the mamba trying to escape. So since there was no escape the mamba became very aggressive getting in several bits that didn't seem to affect the king at all. After the king got in a very powerful bit near mambas head, the mamba was definitely in decline. As the king got in the next couple bites, I remembered that the mamba started biting itself several times, which I thought was very curious behavior but the mamba was dead as the king devoured the entire snake. Essentially it was no contest. I've tried to find the video, even saved it but to no avail. So the king has no rival against snakes. The same guy promised a vid featuring the king and burmese python but never seen that. This channel is very informative but people want to see the real fight. But maybe that violates CZcams policy.

I have had about 7 close encounters with cobras during the last 30 years. The ones I have seen have averaged about 10 feet in length. They don't appear to be particularly afraid of people compared to other snakes.Once I was walking my two Jack Russel Terriers at night. We were in a dark place unlit by street lamps when we heard a really loud hiss. Much louder and deeper than an angry cat.We jumped to the left and on our right , in the moonlight I saw a huge snake slowly going down a hole in the ground just about one foot from us.It was about five inches thick. From its thickness I imagine it would have been twelve feet plus long. That was a really close encounter ! The dogs and I were really fortunate not to have been bitten. I was bitten by a Bamboo Viper 27 years ago , but that's another story.

It avoids unnecessary strikes and uses mock strikes but does not inject venom on most occasions. The perception element is outstanding. In India in deep forests theking Cobras are observed to simply linger around the mediating Yogis. They sense the energy of the tranquil Yogis and just be around.

The Spino is more like an alligator that hunted in the water and wasn't as used to actually fighting for its meals, especially on land.

Lioness vs male jaguar would be a VERY close and bloody matchup. Yeah the lioness has size, but pound for pound, the Jaguar is the most powerful of the great cats with that sturdy, barrel like build and 2,000 psi bite force. A 350 pound lioness will not win so easily against a Pantanal Jaguar that can weigh up to 300 lbs. And despite their shorter legs, jaguars are just as fast as lioness and even more agile tree climbers

Yeah! No need for speculating since it happened in captiviyy already. It was well documented that King Cobras eat Black Mambas in captivity. I watched a TV show called "Born to Be Wild." The use a tube to hold the two snakes. The Black Mamba is very afraid when the snake holder put it near the King Cobra, while the King Cobra gapes it's mouth wide open ready to eat the Mamba, although they didn't allow it of course.
