If you are a Paris capsule investor and you are betting on the Copenhagen stickers being bordered and not borderless, then breaking even with Paris capsules and moving into Paris Team Logo Holo's is starting to look like a decent strategy. If the Copenhagen stickers are bordered then the demand for Paris Team Logo Holo's will likely exceed their unboxing rate for the first time in months. Paris Capsules will continue to see a price ceiling in the short to medium term as there are many Paris Capsule investors looking to sell off their investment for a very small profit, or even just to break even at the first possible chance.
Thanks for explaining this because I'm just a gamer who likes to play games and i bought some capsules back in june of 2023 because i heard it was a guarantee that you make money on capsules because eventually they'd go up past 25 cents . I'm like " what do have to lose ? " I'm not an investor and the only thing I've ever invested into is cs but I'm new to it. Basically it's random and dependent on what happens IRL via many factors . Basically it reminds me of gtav single player where you do a mission and destroy a cigarette company manipulate the stock market for profit. I have more of a chance making money investing in capsules than i do playing the lottery . Lottery is a gamble but an investment that say's " hey these capsules will at least double in price or more " ..... I'm like why not ?
@@Nuriyokan Paris failing to be a profitable investment thus far is due to multiple factors. If Copenhagen 2024 stickers are not borderless then I think we will see Paris capsules start to finally gain value. I doubt they will stay at or below their sale price for much longer. Paris will eventually be profitable, so those who have already waited this long might want to consider continuing to hold if they are alright with giving Paris capsules another 3-6 months to gain some value.
Like you mentioned, IRL factors also contribute to Paris being unprofitable. There were a lot of investment CZcamsrs pumping up Paris as easy profit due to the success of Antwerp and Stockholm investments leading people to think that Paris would also be profitable. The hype surrounding CS2 also caused a mass influx of players and hype, which also contributed to over-supply. Lastly, the real world economy has seen less discretionary spending available for 2024 than 2021, 2022, and 2023.

@@MasterShiny The market is trending towards positive growth right now, but I'm starting to see signs of fear that the Copenhagen stickers could cause a crash. Huge numbers of Buy Orders for Paris stickers are getting filled right now. My hope is that the Copenhagen stickers will not be borderless. I think Valve knows that a lot of casual players are 'invested' into Paris 2023 stickers, and that releasing another borderless sticker for Copenhagen could crash the sticker market. We will see soon; the major is almost here.

i agree Antwerp is now investment quality due to its age and supply versus paris, The new 5 sticker update will eat up supply and more capsules will have to be opened. The price of bitcoin has moved up nice the past 12 months so some people have extra money to spend also the chinese have been buying up gold starting a new goldrush .
Bitcoin moving up is not something that positively impacts the cs investing market traditionally

No matter if the new capsule is bordered/borderless the demand for the new/hyped major capsule is gonna kill the demand for paris. It's massive supply is just a nail in the coffin. Expecting a selloff in the next few weeks.
