- Tereza from PotomacBeads shows how to bezel a 13x27mm navette crystal with Cubic Right Angle Weave (CRAW) and Peyote stitches. She uses only Miyuki Seed Beads in 11/0 and 15/0 sizes, plus the crystal in this beginning beader tutorial. This can be used as a component to make earrings, necklaces or bracelets. The possibilities are endless!

This is fabulous lovely colours really fiddly but great fun it teaches patience
Love the bezel and would I love to make it some day. For me, it's going to take a lot of practice learning CRAW first. Thanks Tereza, your bezel is beautiful!
go to offthebeadedpath craw on you tube and watch her craw video..it is really easy to understand and you will be a pro in no time !
This is a beautiful bezel! I so appreciate you using different colors to teach it, and they actually create a beautiful look to it! Thanks so much.
That stitch is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing this!
WOW Just Beautiful!!! Thank you teaching us the stitch and for sharing!! Liz x
Gorgeous piece! Love the stitching on the back. You could probably wear it either way.
Love ❤️ this. Absolutely Gorgeous Tereza!
This is such a beautiful project. I'm afraid, right now, it is way beyond my stitching experience. Up until now, I've only done one long section of CRAW--never tried to make a turn, so it's a bit intimidating. Thanks, Tereza, for sharing this lovely design with us
Sue you can do this ...just of the turn as starting on the green beads on the side ...take a few minutes to look for the four beads ...then turn it to face you...continue as normal ...you can do it !
Hi Sue, just make a practice piece and have a play with it. Beading is fun!
Love the work you did. Thank you for sharing this tutorial.
Beautiful work! I know this stitch, so I hope to make this project! ❤️

Beautiful! 😍 thank you for sharing!
Do you think it would be possible to use craw to bezel a 10x14 or 13x18mm pear fancy stone?
Yes, absolutely! I have done it using the same method of CRAW and Peyote. I ended up with 21 boxes in total. I did 19 boxes of CRAW. Then for the 20th, I made a slight "turn" to end up with a "V" shape. Then after that box, I connected with the rest of the CRAW to close it. Then I did a couple of rows of Peyote in the "inside" of the piece so that the crystal will fit in without slipping.
@@Potomacbeadco thank you for the info! I tried it with a 13x18mm pear stone and got 19 units (toho 11/0s) around it but it seems a bit loose. I'm going to try your numbers with miyuki.
You made this so easy for me to learn! Thank you! Can I sell what I make giving credit to you and your tutorials?
Yes of course!
Hi Tereza, do you have a tutorial on the earrings that you are wearing?
Hi, those are Tereza's personal earrings that she wore on her wedding day. Tutorial for this earrings is not available. You can check this link to have ideas on how to make the earrings: potomacbeads.eu/pages/soutache-bead-embroidery-tutorials
I think the demo would have been a better tutorial if you had used large beads for a lesson before moving into smaller.
I would love to do this but it's way too fast for me. Tutorials are not the same anymore , too fast and skipping a lot to get finished fast. But still I love the video. Thank you.
Way too hard to follow
You probably need to learn CRAW first if you've never done it before. Step by step! 😜
Sorry.... it's confusing.
Hi Susan, CRAW can be complicated if you've never done it before. Look for CRAW tutorials for beginners and that will make it easier to understand.
