nice OS on the jump L/M... can't tell you how many times I've missed that air 2H... I changed to just jump canceling into LL auto combo but this is what I needed!
Me: Has already figured out routes with my assits to get a slidingkd, and here comes this guy showing me a way to get it for free. Nice. In exchange here's a piece of tech, (DBS) Broly can combo after his aerial 2H even AFTER using super dash. You can use his Level 1 if you're not too close to either corner. If your on the left side you input 9,4,3, AND you get a sliding. Even keeps them in the corner. If you're right side the input is 7,6,1. :)
Broly can also combo off blue goku anywhere on screen off of his dunk move as well without the need of the otg grab. So in terms of extending combos and block stun. Broly plays better with Bluku then others.

At this point sometimes I wonder if the devs are biased toward GT Goku or what. He definitely could use some nerf in S3.

You can go straight into his down light right after the grab timing is strict but its more damage and you still have a free super dash...

18:58 If the armor is triggered, he will automatically stop charging and attack. It auto baits DP's.
Not correct, you can continue to hold after the armour is triggered. A few people have said this, I think this got mentioned by someone somewhere and people just taking it as fact. It will only "auto release" if the H is held for a fair bit of time already, and the "hit" frame of the armour burns up its remaining time, thus it releases that way.
@@rooflemonger Oh ok. My friend told me this on day one. He said that he tested it on Vegito's 5L and it worked every time, so I took his word for it :)
2S after SKD also covers every option except spark. It’s easier to time than whiff 2L and just adds another oki layer.
2S to super dash while close also covers all options and cannot be 2H, can go into yamcha assist and other post super dash shenanigans.
I'm starting to get tired of gt Goku
I love GT Goku, but ofc he needs to get nerfed, but lets face it even if they take away Lvl 3 Oki, post lvl 3 supers, maybe nerf his assist and his dmg when 1 or 2 are dead on ur team, I can guarantee they won't touch his hitbox because looking back, they haven't adjusted hitboxes for anyone as fas as I know, so he's still gonna be obnoxious as hell because of this lmao

"ofc" just means "of course" and "oki" refers to the mindgames that come from a hard knockdown.
Which basically means "He's knocked down on the ground, what will he do when gets up"?
Block?
Attack?
Reflect?
Super?
Etc.
That's what "oki" refers to.
Wonder-Eyes SUHMAAASHA Thank you I seek to improve at this game. So know those terms and options available to me and the opponent. I’m currently working on my combos, yeah I know it’s not all what fighting games. I just want to work on them so I can get optimal punishes or confirms. I have a high passion for this game and smash. But yet I never play anyone.

They should reduce the frames for Broly DBS throws and make his standing L 7 frames.

So I wanted to experiment a little with that Eraser Blow assist and I found a couple I like, and one of them Im very happy I found, so I figured I'd share. I cant share screenshots so I will do my best to describe the timing for the curious
1. Trunks. At the start of the move, around the 2nd or 3rd time the camera zooms in for the cinematic on Broly fisting his opponent, if you call Trunks, Broly will smash the opponent into Trunk's giant blast and you can get a superdash into a small combo from this. Considering Trunks is a solid mid/anchor I found it nice he has synergy with the Eraser Blow setup
2. Videl. I was so happy when I found this. The timing is quite strict, but after the big explosion, as Broly is snapping his arms down into the "Im charging my energy" pose before he teleports, call Videl. She will kick the opponent right into Broly as he lands and you can get a FULL combo. Down+M, Stand M, Jump ML, Jump ML, Down H, Superdash, L, L, qcf+light, Super of choice (just for example)
Bardock's assist can be used with the same timing but due to the speed and height he hits the opponent in you have to jump to get the combo going, Videl keeps them closer to the ground for the juicy mediums.
Speaking of his eraser blow conversions and how you can make weird assists work with it, you can use ss goku or krillin (b assist) mid screen JUUST before the explosion and you will drop in front of them (preventing them from being blown away by kamehameha assist) then you can start standing light autocombo and whatever you want from there. Timing's a tad tight but i havn't had trouble landing it online.
The issue is that if you land eraser blow while they are in the corner your opponent will land *behind* goku. So not all that amazing all the time but hey its another fun and weird way you can convert from eraser blow.
I'll take notes of these to improve my DBS Broly efficiency! I especially like the L Dunk into and sliding knockdown routes to help maintain pressure by himself! Double-Deflect shenanigans I haven't seen in awhile, plus I like that his Stand Heavy can bust through most DPs unlike OG Broly's! ^^

... In all seriousness tho DBS Broly is a character and a half! Was super excited for GGTA but he didn't fit right, Broly feels like the exact character I've been missing. Super thankful Roof is taking the time to teach me this beast of a character in lieu of all the other FGC stuff he could be working on (Street fighter, Tekken, MK11)! Hopefully next patch gives us holy Broly buffs!

It doesn't even appear hard, but for whatever reason...I just can't figure the timing out. I watched it in your last video, but I just need something else to help me understand. You make it look effortless, which I'm sure it is...but damn 😔
Uhh, inputs are in the original tips guide I believe? But the only issue of timing is just a tiny delay after the LL autocombo hit then superjump, thats it thats all. Everything else is auto timing
rooflemonger I kinda felt stupid after you said the inputs were in the video explaining how the link works, but I just checked again and they are not displayed. You DO make it go in slow motion though. I'm gonna give it another try though. I gave up after like two days of trying 🤣

rooflemonger Everything works except the 2L. It just won't connect. This is the only thing in this game that I can't do since the game's release. Ever been so frustrated you wanna throw your controller against the wall like a Frisbee? That's where I'm at right now.
rooflemonger I just pulled it off a few times, but found something VERY interesting. Every time I did exactly what you said, it still didn't seem to work because the opponent keeps landing before I do. So what was my remedy? After the homing dash, I had to cancel into forward forward THEN do j.L j.H.....and NOW the 2L connects. I wonder what I'm doing wrong when I was doing it without the air dash after the homing dash. For some reason, it doesn't work for me without it. Am I just ignorant and it's supposed to be implied that I've got to air dash after the homing dash to get him to drop to the ground faster?

The question I have is can you Kara Cancel Stand Heavy into Invincible Lvl 1 on characters like Gogeta? Because that wouldn’t be a bad way to beat out multi hitting DPs, albeit burning a bar of meter
You theoretically could yes, but I don't think it would be truly valuable in the end.

Yes they do. Very well. I run Bardock, DBS Broly and SSJ Vegeta. They all synergize pretty well

MK11 was my first real fighting game and I'm loving it, but getting a little bored. Is this game worth getting, or would a noob like me get my ass kicked and lose attention? How's the online player base? Good tutorial? Hard to learn game?
Good for newer players most characters have a universal combo for beginners and superdash makes it alot of fun for newer player and higher ranked it get really in depth

how do you deal with og broly? I can't press buttons through his armor, all dbs broly attacks' feel slower and have no range in comparison
In a straight up slapfight OG Broly is better at it, so just don't play that game. Broly has a beam and air S to stop kiblast spam, and his eraser blow means OG broly can't hang at the top of the screen either. DBS Broly straight up has more overall range than OG broly as well, just not on the light buttons.

Well, everyone loses to reflect, that's the point. Ain't nothing about him that reflect hurts worse than anyone else. In fact he has more tools to screw reflect over than most, with command grab and delay H
