I think you could fix the BiD pen with some blue Loctite. Just take the clip off, cover the area ot makes contact with the pen body and screw with the Loctite, and let it dry. Once dry, it should go back together and fix the movement issue. I don't recommend doing that and assembling it wet, since Loctite does a great job otlf locking things down tight (it might be very hard to remove if you do that. )
The clip issue you have on the BID is easy to fix, you just need a thin washer / shim 0.2 mm or so thickness with an inner diameter of at least 1 mm. Just unscrew the top and insert the shim either above where the clip hooks through the screw. This will force the clip into a fully locked position.
The other issue with the BID design is that the full (and considerable impact force of the retracting bolt is born by the bolt handle alone. Given how strong the spring is, this is not a great design cause it can cause the bolt handle to back out and start deforming the threads.
You can fix this by supergluing a 2mm thick rubber O-ring to the top of the brass bolt carrier in between where the carrier almost hits the top of the barrel. This way the bolt handle has a TINY bit of clearance from the notch and thus takes no impact force. All the impact lands on the rubber O-ring instead.
Another thing I'd add to this is to use a little TINY bit of Loctite blue (or weaker) on the threads of the bolt. That keeps it from backing out unless you want it to.

@@vixercrouchrichter My understanding of a tactical pen is that it serves a dual function as a glass breaker or weapon, using a tungsten tip on one end of the pen. The pens in this video do not have such tips as you can see, and they are not marketed as tactical pens. That being said, you are always subject to the discretion of the airport security agent so if you are concerned about having an item confiscated, then best to err on the side of caution and pack it into your checked luggage. I have not had problems transporting these particular pens through security.
