That's how a LOT of folks do it in South Florida. They use ready made shrimp nets and net them from a boat as the shrimp are running in the ICW and canals.
Awesome video always caught plenty of shrimp right there. Like to make some kind of net on a frame and stick in front of them pipes. Tacos looked good keep up the amazing videos.
One shrimp at a time! I think you are on to something with that net. It got me thinking on how to make a hoop net to use in behind those culverts. Let the current do the work.
If you look up a Chinese recipe called salt and pepper shrimp, it's really good! The key to the recipe is, you cook the shrimp in super hot oil, so the shell becomes crispy and you can eat the shrimp head, tail, eyeballs and all. Very tasty and you don't waste any.
Ditch Shrimp... Now I've seen everything. I could smell them cajun shrimp through my monitor. Keep it up man. Great videos and showing just how good that simple life is.
Awesome video Jared!!! Your killing it, showing us all these roadside tricks then you show us a cooking show!! Love your channel ❤ one day i will make it down there to fish. Susan from Ar.
Hi Jared try pulling with the current, you can pull your net faster than they can swim .People that dip skipjack and shad for a living that is how do it.
I used to run with a regular-sized dip net through a school of smelt that was always around where this little river drained out into the ocean. Rocky bottom but at least all round river rocks, and of course I did this barefoot, running but also holding the net to drag behind me. I don't know how I never busted an ankle. When I had enough I'd take them home and fry them, they were good!
Totally yummy video Jared!! You just continue to make some awesome videos. These just make me wish I could be more active!! Thanks for taking us along with you!!!❣🌴
Enjoyed the video. Great job. There's more than 1 way to skin a cat and catch shrimp 😂. Gotta Love Louisiana to be able to catch Shrimp on side the road. 👍👍
That would be an awesome place to go fishing in the winter time. I don’t know we’re it’s locked in the parish. Haven’t fished down their in years. It looks like we’re we go to at the Fourchon
I was just sitting and saying now how is he going to get any shrimp. It is amazing how you were able to get any shrimp at all. Loved this video. I needed to be there dipping to get the exercise on LOL. It is hard work with the current.
Wouldn't mind having a mess of those. Don't eat them much anymore unless I'm sure they're wild caught. If I eat farm raised shrimp about 30 minutes later big bumps pop up and I start itching like crazy. No idea what that's all about? Maybe the crazy high nitrate levels they're raised in? Just know I don't have any problems if they're wild shrimp.
My buddy and I made some nets like that. We call them our “can’t miss nets” lol 😂
🤣🤣
Cole!!!!!!!!!!!
Sponge Bob put y’all on??
you are on the top of my list of people to be stranded in the wilderness with. extremely resourceful. great video!

@@ballistic350 true! Can't even find them at Kroger no more. Ha!
One thing about Cajun’s….we gon eat. 🤣
I believe if the mesh of the net us larger you will catch. More shrimp. Less resistance on the net you can move it faster. .SEMPER FI

SCHWIMPS! Love this. Would love to get "free" schwimps and/or crabs..
Lol. Thank you
Just watched your last video never tried that before but in the past if you could find culverts running like that the redfish are there to
May be just try keeping the net of the sweet spot for a few minutes, then check for the results.
Used to do that here in Florida!
Think we going to run down to the Parish on Sunday morning and see what's up 🐟🍤🦐🦀
Those little sea bugs definitely are delicious
I want to do that when i come down there.

Are there any good places to bank fish on the Chalmette side of the Algiers Chalmette Ferry?
Love to go fishing with you one day man..
Can u go there at night with a coleman light and dip them as the go by in the current?
Would it be legal 🤔
It’s only crazy if it doesn’t work. U can eat shrimp 100 different ways and u can do the same for catching them.
Thank you. Finally
Someone who gets it
Heat up that tortilla
Would be better without the cilantro

They are literally aquatic cockroaches
