    For working in Dust & Mud, this is the cleanest truck ever. Its like the driver puts it on autopilot and cleans its on the outside as he drives to and from work.

    It's interesting that American Volvos have the same D16 engine but not in the 750hp version but only limited to 605hp. Is there a reason behind it?

    • @MC2738
      @MC2738 Před 6 lety +1

      JeremiBulakowski European FH can go 750HP,
      I have no idea why they don’t put that engine into this one.

      @samcameron2005 Před 6 lety +10

      america and other places like here in Australia can't keep the engines cool enough for the extra horsepower. we run 700 cab over globetrotters and 685 Macks here.

  • @grobetog
    @grobetog Před 6 lety +8

    1:40 It always amazes me that there are no splash guards above the tire, especially on a configuration like this that is routinely driven on gravel roads. Aside from stones that are often trapped in the tread, large rocks can get stuck between the dual mounted tires which at highway speeds can cause damage to other vehicles and even injury. Since you can get sued for anything in the US, this really seems like a liability to me.
    Compare that to the splash guards in this video which are wrapped all around the top of the tire: czcams.com/video/KuuUqoqFzy0/video.htmlm33s

      Joel because of the axel lenght. In the USA they have another sort of weight and axellenght than to what Europe has. For exampel they dont have a maximum lenght of cab but trailer. In sweden we have a total combination maximum lenght. So they get more axellenght and comfort by creating trucks like these but in sweden we lose loadcapacity by having like these instead...

    • @CrusoeAI
      @CrusoeAI Před 6 lety +8

      The US and Europe have really different roads. In the US, it is more long-haul, so large sleeping area is preferred. In Europe, the cities with long history made it impossible to drive long US truck in there.
