I HATE the ones where Watson is portrayed as an idiot! I'm glad you're posting this series, unusual in that Watson is portrayed as intelligent, as no doubt a medical doctor would have to be in order to complete his training, serve in the armed forces abroad, and set up a London practice with a wife and kids AND handle Holmes, which is how it is in the original Strand Magazine stories. Thank you!
Yes, absolutely correct. Most recent versions of the Holmes mythos tend to correct this regrettable tendency, most particularly the recent Russian version and the American ones.

Just got back to my apartment!! Lights and heat after 6 days!!! I am 61 and never have lost power for a week during hurricane season!!! Louisiana and ice do not go together!!😂
How you watch it without electricity and where? Means comeon you have to charge your phone,ipad, or computer , laptop and Tv operates on electricity...
@@aarusk5339 Well this was back in Feb. when we had the ice storm in Louisiana and I had no electricity at my home for 7 days.. However we got a hotel room! It’s amazing I wld give some snarky answer on a Sherlock Holmes movie. Right now after Ida we are out again YES everything is charged and we are in a hotel in Texas.

All three of them are the worst to portray the main three characters. But I enjoyed the story nevertheless. Watching during the Covic-19 Lockdown, May 25.
It was a big mistake to make Dr. Watson the dominant personality in this series. He is completely without humour, belligerent and makes the ineffectual Holmes even more so. This must be the worst adaption of Sherlock Holmes ever: colourless, tedious and completely without interest.
I love all Sherlock series, it's a neverending story, they'll be portraying Holmes a thousand years from now.

Sheldon Reynolds also had Holmes and Watson walking together in the intro - only towards the camera, not away. i think it's a nice touch :}

The Watson character seems more dominant then Holmes...this should not be.
