Yesss! It was so sensual I feel the American audience wouldn’t think it’s family friendly as his hand was right at the top of her thigh. But I utterly loved it. It was similar with Zoe. lion cub scene was electric so happy they nailed it with the Aus cast

I’ve been lucky enough to see both Zoe and Sheridan with Liam, personally I prefer Sheridan and Liam’s vocals together but all of them are very lovely people, I was lucky enough to meet them all..Hope we can get a recording of ‘What is this feeling’ by Zoe/Sheridan and Courtney
I saw this run in Sydney 4 times and Sheridan was playing Elphaba for all of them. I often ( not always ) go into a musical hoping it won't be the understudy but in this case I'd have loved to have seen Zoe too. This entire current Sydney cast were absolutely phenomenal. I managed to squeeze in a final performance just before it finished on the weekend - I saw the deluxe seats available and just couldn't pass it up. I know it's off to Melbourne next, if any of you have a chance to see it do go... it's incredible!!
I actually got to see Jordan and Courtney as Glinda and as I said, Sheridan and Zoe on for Elphaba. I hope this doesn't come off as mean, I absolutely adore Sheridan and I had the most amazing time getting to chat to her, she was incredible. Zoe and I also had an amazing conversation. But I would say that they have quite different voices, Zoe has a much higher, clearer voice which was interesting in contrast with Liam as Sheridan's voice is normally on the same level as him as she has a deeper voice so I do prefer Sheridan's vocals for Elphaba, but Zoe is extremely talented too. I'd love to see Emily on for Glinda, I actually met Courtney and Emily previously when I was 8, they worked as the performers at Dreamworld in QLD. Emily was absolutely lovely, and lucky me, I've booked a Melbourne show for April 11th, which will be Emily's 30th Birthday! I've gotten her a little gift in case I run into her after the show. I was so incredibly lucky to meet this star cast twice, I adore every one of them. I got little moments with each of them that will stick with me forever. On the first night I met them (31/1), My photo with Courtney came out really blurry so on the second night (01/2) She took more photos with me and stood back to check I was happy with them before she moved on to the many other fans waiting for her, she even took time to speak to my disabled Mother which was something so heartwarming to see, it made my mum so happy. Sheridan greeted me the second she walked out the door and gave me a hug, she is the most stunning women I've ever met, even more beautiful in person. She told me about the 'turning green' process while we laughed about her green streaked hair and she gave me some advice about bullies as she was bullied herself in high school (I'm 16 for reference) and my absolute favourite, Liam🧡He was the first member of the main cast I got to meet and both nights he was insane. I was absolutely terrified of him, He's over 6 ft and twice my size which I did not expect but I got a lovely hug from him and some advice about work experience behind the scenes of musical theatre. On the second night, he came out with a racquet and a towel and dropped them on the ground to give me a very tight second hug☺I tried to move away but his hand was grabbing onto me so I was stuck there(fine by me)
I managed to crack him up when I told my friends to take loads of photos so I had options😂@@oodles_of_noodles. so I have a perfect photo of us laughing together. I am beyond excited to travel down to Melbourne to see them once more, this cast truely means a lot to me and I am so so grateful I have made these memories, they are such talented, young people and I admire them all. It's insane to me how I went from watching them from the back of Sydney Lyric theatre in September to getting to hug them. Courtney and Sheridan had a much higher demand so I got an extended time to talk to Liam and Zoe, they have wicked senses of humour and are both such genuinely kind people. I have the worst social anxiety but I pushed myself and took the opportunity to meet them and I'm so glad I did, honestly they are all so down the Earth, I was violently shaking but somehow Liam managed to calm me down before my head exploded. Looking forward to April!
@@littlelillipilli That's absolutely awesome... what incredible experiences for you!! Yes, everyone is a little different and brings their own little touches to a character but there is an insane level of talent in this current Australian cast. Not to call out any in particular out but I'm sure every one of us has been to a musical and been left disheartened by certain cast not living up to the hype, or expecting the cast we see in all the interviews and getting the understudy on your trip etc but there is seemingly no combination of any of this cast that doesn't just work brilliantly together. I too may end up in Melbourne to see it again. I've been obsessed with it since first seeing it in Sydney in 2009. I keep thinking each time I see it I will know that I've finally seen it enough but it just doesn't happen hahaha.
@@oodles_of_noodles. it’s been over two weeks now but such a special experience that I’m still on a high😭🫧Yes I completely understand and agree with you on the certain cast members not living up to the hype but then again possibly our own fault for having such high expectations, everyone in this cast in insane but they are all different, I didn’t expect Zoe to perfectly match Sheridan and she didn’t, but I’m glad she didn’t because I got to hear the difference, both are amazingly talented and execute the roll with flying colours. I do have wishes to see the emerald green trio again when I arrive in Melbourne but if my show has Zoe, Emily or Jordan I’d be absolutely delighted. As long as Liam stays in I’ll be beyond happy, nobody can beat his performance, the personal humour and beautiful vocals he brings to Fiyero each time blows me away. Good to know that I might be ‘magically blown’ back to Melbourne to see this show again, when my last Sydney show ended, I broke down into tears, in absolute disbelief and despair that I might not see these fantastic people together again but thank god for planes😭🤣I’m the same age as Sheridan was when she first saw Wicked, and she has come full circle, from the wowed audience to wowing the audience. My friend Indi had singing lessons from none other than Counrtey Monsma herself and Indi is currently trying to convince me to take online acting classes with Liam as coach(never going to happen)🤣 but we’ll see where Liam’s advice and the wind take me over the next few years🤫
