If you want to live in Columbia Station. Be prepared to hear gun fire EVERYDAY, Smell live stock, and deal with a over crowded school system. If you don't like guns, explosions and fireworks I would advise you to stay away. Many people love the idea of living in a rural setting until it's time to live in rural setting. Also be prepared to add a lot of time to your commute in the winter as these are county roads and there are only a few trucks, so don't expect to leave your house and have the streets clean. Don't be surprised if you get stuck behind a tractor that takes up both lanes and you can't pass them on your way home from work. This WILL happen. Do you love the sound of kids ripping atvs all day all night? You better because there's a good chance those will be your neighbors. Just putting out a warning. I've talked to a lot of people who moved here and now complain about these things. This is coming from a Columbia resident for 15+ years.
My family lives in C.S. I HATE/LOATH all the track homes being built. I love the fact that it's a small town and wish it would be left that way. Used to be that all new homes had to be 2 acres MINIMUM.
This is where I initially would like to move to and build a house. Honestly the commute time doesn’t bother me, I’m mostly driving through North Olmsted, Olmsted twp, and Strongsville. So living in Columbia Station would be great for me since I’ll be right in the middle of those cities

I have heard -They actually have stopped the new construction developments for the time being (about 3 years)
