There is actually a gintama movie currently shown in theatres in japan. Its a remaster of this arc in movie format in celebrating the gintama 20th anniversary. I haven’t seen the movie yet so im not sure if they made any changes to this arc

No I think they are not making some changes. They just showed it once again for the 20th anniversary and sell merchandise which a tissue paper (Gintama customized tissue box) that Gin had used while fantasizing Suzuran
