Rigging - Splicing a cover with a messenger line

Julien Barnet reveals an unbeatable technique to make a splice on a rope that's difficult to work with. When the hollow fid or other splicing fids can't get in there (very thin braid, tight cover), he uses a smaller messenger line that slides inside the rope. Crafty!
