I learned to drive on these, we had buses like this that were late 60's early 70's. They had power steering with a 671 engine and 2-speed automatic. We also had some early 60's models the same configuration except NO power steering, now those were a workout to drive all day. 😀
Love two speed boxes. First time I've heard an Alison one. Have heard ZF, Voith and Scania ones. The Renk 3 speed doromat as used in MAN buses goes like it's a 2 speed as well as the Spicer single speed.
