Is there any noticeable difference in the power? box debating on going with this setup or ecu flash
When I got my stm primary clutch it stopped that bog when u first start on throttle

Pain right in there rear getting the tuner hooked up on them! I have heard about people having issues with the big gun...which is why I didn't go with it. How has it been running since the install?
It runs great since the tuning issues. What tuner did you go with? I foresee a new quad in the near future lol.
I went wit the Dobek tuner through HMF since it is required for warranty through them. Went with the HMF Titan XL...so far so good except I ended up getting a fault somewhere in the tuner and it was dumping fuel like crazy. Literally had gas blowing out of my headers! Thankfully Dobek is sending me a new one to get connected in which hopefully we don't get a repeat happenin.
I miss the cost of tuning with carburetors but I like the efficiency and power of fuel injection. I was looking at HMF and may still go HMF for the 570, just has to be more quiet than the big gun.
RidgeRunner338 the Titan xl “loud” I tested at 94-96 decibels. It did come with a sound reducer and spark arrestor which may drop it down a notch. Big gun definitely has some voice to it!
Best exhaust spring tool is a shoe lace

Yes I do. The 570 is a V Twin where the Highlifter is a parallel twin. I do believe it will sound good none the less!!! I wish I knew someone running one!!! I'd travel for sound clips and video lol.
So dose the TFI power box take away the seed limiter has there been any big issues with it?
+Maple she still only goes 53mph due to RPMs with the low gearing. I fouled the plugs trying to get it tuned but it ran great after that. Biggest issue was getting the front injector unplugged and plugged in.
What dose "fouled" the plug mean.
+Maple I was putting to much fuel to it and the plugs wouldn't spark anymore. Made them dirty basically.
You need to check your plugs I had one them tuners with my exhaust on a 13 850 and it did not help it took my power down run to rich
I had to mess with it, it fouled 2 plugs in a couple minutes. So for so good, knock on wood!
how has the programmer been? I want to get one for my cat but don't want to if its waste

what did yo need the torch for my exhaust came off my 850 xp np i put a big slipon on and it worked great i didnt need a power box
+NeBoFoRiOn the exhaust bracket was hitting the frame or something but it would not just come off like other dudes video and I got frustrated and said I'm not asking anymore LOL.

I put dual big guns on mine, do really need the programmer or is it fine to run it stock tune with exhaust and intake? I have the tunner but dont wanna tear it apart to install hahaha!
It will run lean without fuel adjustment. I do know people that do not program them though. I would recommend tuning it though.
I got the EVO U on my 1000 Touring. Love it. I bought the tuner but didn't wanna take apart that air box so I tried without it. I been running it without it for over a year now and it runs nice. But a part of me wants to compare, so I think im gonna have to try the tuner. But unlike yours, I can't get to the connections. I can make 1 connection, maybe 2. But the other 2 impossible without removing the box. I think cause mines a Touring there are buried behind those hoses. @@RidgeRunnerATV
I've never worked on a touring so idk man. I am curious now though. It would be nice to have dyno to mess with! I really like how the EVO U sounds!!!

Does the programmer allow it to run faster than 50 hahah or does it just increases hp and adjust fuel to air ratio
Gears keep it at 53 lol. Just more power to get to that top speed 🤣🤣🤣

Riding with Joe I just saw this. Gears out of a 850SP would work amazingly well!!! It's all in the transmission.
Do you need the programer?
Yes it stays plugged into the machine. Some people do run them without programming but I'd suggest that you do.
Did you have any problems with the box getting wet, is it waterproof ?
Nope, and it's been under water lol. Not sure if it's rated for that 😁😁😁

@@onealbroach8976 no, it's limited by rpms. It gives it more fuel to compensate for when it leans out.

New gear in the transmission out of a 850 SP. Then it will run 80ish.

This one does, it had warning labels in the paperwork. A lot of them don't though.

There was a way easier way to get the stock exhaust off without the need for a cutting torch 😂 4 screws in the back and you lift up the rear rack like half an inch and it would have slid right out

I like them, but I don't mind a foot shift either. The power delivery is much smoother. On the down side if the belt gets wet your done until it's drained and dried. The HL has yet to slip, I would add snorkel risers though.
You don't need a fuel tuner with just a slip on exhaust. Waste of money.
Well it is recommended by Big Gun for this exact one. Better safe than sorry in my opinion. "Hmmmmmm I don't recall leaving this comment... Woody?"
@@RidgeRunnerATV of course they recommend it. It's an up sell. Your just wasting fuel at this point. They don't add power they add fuel to engines that have been built. Bigger pistons, cam, restroke the crank ect. Pointless on stock engines. Just trying to help you bro.

They actually don’t recommend their tuner. It says on the website you can use which ever tuner you prefer but the tuner is necessary either way for the big gun evo u slip on !
