I know what you mean! Chanel comes out with some gorgeous shades and are VERY limited. It is like if you see a SLG in a color you like, you have to get it because when you go back it is gone!
I was able to buy a CHANEL SLG yesterday! A friend of mine saw it and told me it was a unicorn piece. I called the customer service number and it sure was. It was from a closed season last year (2020). The customer service agent was able to verify it once I gave her the style no. I am so thrilled.

Thanks for stopping by, Jamie. My favorite for unique looks is the iridescent beige with pearly cc card holder. The go-to favorite is the gray quited snap card holder! I really want to try the YSL card holder though! Heard so much good things about it.

You are right, small cardholder sized SLG on chains are very in. I hadn't even thought of that. Let me know how it works out for you! Card holders are much less pricey than the wallet on chains!

Hey Sam! LV has a lot of great SLGs so I can see why you have them. I have heard YSL has good card holders. Do you have any? I have always wanted to try one, but never got around to it.
angeleyn I do have a YSL cardholder but I have come to realize I am much more into storing my cards in thinks that’s zip than cardholders. So I legit have never used it 🤣
@@bargain.hunting.blonde haha! I actually mostly use a zip card holder than a flat card holder. I carry too many items to just use in a flat case. It is very nice to have for smaller bags or evening wear.
Lovely collection. Quick question, does Chanel colorful SLGS can color transform ? For example I want to get a pink card holder and put inside my lv mini pochette with red interior and my Toiletry pouch with beige interior
Hi Harper. I haven't had any of my colored slg transfer color onto the insides of my bags. I think it is important not to get them wet. I have bags with colorful interiors and they also haven't transferred onto my slgs. Hope that helps!

How exciting hunting for your first Chanel slg :) hmm that's tough because I like the look of the classic flap card holder but think the zipped coin purse more useful for my style. I guess I would probably go with the zip coin purse for functionality, but would definitely add the flap card holder for looks down the line. Hope you find a perfect first Chanel slg! Would love to know what you end up choosing!

Hey Karen. I got it December 2019 at the Chanel San Francisco store. I don't remember them having lambskin then, but perhaps they have it in 2020. Good luck!

You've got some beautiful pieces but to me it's a real pity you are not using many of them (or only sparingly).. It's like a blouse that is never worn or a book never read.

Use your stuff. They’re getting damaged by just existing as well. You invested a lot of money in pieces of leather not only to look at them.

Hi Jennifer. I think we have different definition of "using" our items. I use it for certain occasions and when I feel like it. One should never feel forced to use an item. These are also art pieces to me so part of the purpose of my SLGs are to decorate my collection. In my book, they are being used.
