Local dairy company is making old fashion glass bottles a new thing

A Laveen dairy company is trying to appeal to the younger generations by bringing old fashioned glass bottles back. Using old and refurbished materials, the company is creating new flavors and using old bottling methods to give customers a taste of the past.

Everything tasted better in glass. I remember as a kid in the early 70s, all beverages came in glass; milk, soda, juices. It is all so good. I have ordered glass bottles to store my beverages. I hate drinking things from plastic bottles.

I was born in 1977 Pennsylvania and I remember the Milkman bringing milk in glass bottles , leaving it at the door and then when you were done you’d leave the empty bottles at the door for the milkman to take , I also remember the milk tasting better.
All the sudden they stopped doing it in the 80’s and never saw it again .
I went to Kroger today ( I’m in Georgia now ) and what did I see ... yep milk in glass bottles , I had a nostalgia moment and I bought a 1/2 gallon for 6.57 ( 2.00 deposit so you’ll bring back the bottle )
I think this should come back in every part of the country ... bring back the milkman .

I remember when I first saw a glass jug of milk in the grocery store..my grandma (rip) was in her 70's and she just had a little smile on her face to see that. The fact you can take the jug back is great. We all need to do some recycling and this right here helps a lot when you can send the glass back and it can be cleaned and sent out again.

Geeze, that's so expensive. Where I live it's only $2.99 per glass bottle with a deposit of $1.50. But I get my milk at a small, family owned grocery store

Love it! This was how it was when I was also a kid. Everything was either in glass bottles or veggies in the tins. Now we have a huge waste issue which recycling was supposed to clean-up. However it is only a fees scam and landfills and waters are now polluted everywhere because of plastics! Back to glass pease and you can return your bottles where you bought them!!!
