This dude would come rocketing from one side of the field to pick off a pass looking like he appeared out of nowhere - just unpredictable, unseen; every defender could learn something from this style. Just amazing. Don't think I'll ever see something like this again; corner, safety, or otherwise. Him and Troy up in Pitt; I miss both of them man. They can not be replaced.
It was great honor & privilege to have perhaps the greatest safety ever as a Raven!!! He was a QB's worst nightmare!! Includin the many of the greatest like Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees,& many more! There will never be another Ed Reed.
The reason I became a Raven fan in elementary school! Best safety of all time! Glad he won with Ravens before he retires! Wished him and John had a good relationship, because he should’ve never left Baltimore!!!
