Update: I tried your strat. I don’t have Byron built so I used Carolina in place and my Alsa is only +8 EX BUT this works great! I was able to still win with them. Once I get Alsa to +10, this will be. Even easier. I’m currently in top 20 so it’s a lot of meta defense. Awesome guide!
It's more FIXED Alsa than BUFFED Alsa since she wasn't working as intended. It's interesting to have another alternative to counter Eironn-Scarlita

thank you for sharing the scarlita eironn comp counter strat using alsa! I tried it, it actually worked! My alsa was just +4, but i got to beat a scarlita eironn with +15 scarlita buy nuking their wilder core with alsa and forces scarlita to come down without buff, and then stun her with alsa's slam. I am glad that my investment on her wasn't in vain, the patch really helps her to be less suicidal.
I really enjoyed you going into detail why this counter works. Scarlita is not common on my server in PVP so I hope you show other defense team counters as well. I’m using the Eironn meta team on defense myself but knowing what can be attacked is useful for me when attacking. Great guide.
Can you make a video dedicated to countering Thoran Eironn Arden Carolina Damian lines ? Thats way more common on top ranks since high scarlita is luxury
The same works. I have been using Asla for weeks now cleaning up these weak Eironn teams. I love the current meta because it’s so easy to counter with Asla.

@@ColrathD you are right. I just tried using alsa against eironn arden comp it works, due to her being mauler she melts enemy's wilder core quicker than enemy carolina against mine, which was less effective as a graveborn.

@@user-kl6tq5vd3j Yes you can, works both on arena and supreme, on supereme on map 2 is pretty busted
The two current comps I face on my Top 5 are: Top 5 to 2 are all using Map 3 with Thoran, Granny, Damian, Hewynn, and Scarlita (stalling). Top 1 is using Map 1 with Phraesto, Reinier, Dionel, Scarlita, and Damian (Dionel ults and wipes the map or Scarlita does). God it's annoying lol. I've beaten the Top 1 team by sniping Dionel with Silvina and Vala, but Scarlita's drop into ult cleans the map unless a VERY specific RNG plays out with Vala killing Reinier and targeting Scarlita. Having a rough time breaking through the Granny/Thoran/Healer stall.
Hi Zeebo, great vid. I have a question, how would you counter a Shakir Scarlita Eiron Hewyn Damian team?
Any chance of making a Phraesto arena defence video? I don't have other Cel/Hypo units built up other than him, but Arena 3 doesn't really work too well in terms of getting his dmg reduc. Gotta stress that Phraesto would be the only Cel/Hypo unit here if terms of comp suggestions, I know Scarlita would be great on certain maps with him.
Also as others have said, would be good to know if there's a solid Carol, Arden counter comp with Alsa. One of her problems is she gets hit by Eironn, smacked by Carol snowballs, then zooms into Thoran's loving embrace before Damien can heal her...
Ok but how does this work on your whale account? Stacked up against full paragon teams with paragon yourself can it still carry? Or does it fall off to he wayside?

I’ve been using Vala against Dionel since they usually have the enlightening spell and he’s placed at the very back.
4+1 and 3+2 have the same faction bonus

What's the advantage of using Byron instead of Florabelle? Doesn't the synergy work better than Byron?
Full magic team which benefits from Eironn magic def debuff for burst
Why not Parisa or Carolina as a substitute for Bryon? Both are good at adding to the burst.
Isn't Parisa too slow for this?
Was about damn time they made alsa a meta hero at something, it was embarrassing for a banner hero to be inferior in all game modes to heroes we already had.

I guess you're still early in the server buddy haha, the version with Scarlitta beats any comp you mentioned above. Everyone is running this Scarlitta comp in my server
My server is 80 days old, and this is the most common defense in top 20 Arena because it is very effective. I'm ranked 2 on my server and it's the toughest defense to crack
