Any changes to the suspension? In the previous model, you would “intimately get to know every bump and hole on the road”. I wonder if Kia addressed this.

saw this in the color black....passed my eye and had to take a 2nd look cause i thought it was a mini Ford Explorer.
Its bigger than the other crossover's out there. Looks better the its older version.
At the price, i would’ve wanted a power tailgate, mild hybrid setup.
Might as well consider a stretch version with a 7 seater - perhaps a Seltos XL.

Agreed but I have test driven the Yaris Cross and the Seltos in Baguio. The interior quality/materials and NVH of the Seltos is A LOT better than the Yaris Cross.

Nag test drive ako neto. Masarap idrive in fairness. Pero nakulangan ako sa features. No power tailgate, no 360 Cam, not even a blind spot monitoring.
Lots of these KIA model running in the US. Must be a good sign.

Emzoom is a better option for me. Better interior, more tech and a more powerful engine. Plus factor pa yung exterior as it looks more modern and masculine than this.

I think I would rather go for the Territory Titanium X than the Seltos considering the price. You will have the 360 camera and powerliftgate
But Ford Territory is actually a china crossover. Just not my cup of tea.

Facelift or no facelift, theres just but less than a handful of these on the road. Very rare you see one. I drive everyday along edsa, and yes, not a single sighting of the seltos. I feel sorry for this model. This just doesnt cut it. Even kia's showroom in sheridan is devoid of any seltos.. sad.
Almost 1.7M, with lacking certain feature like 360 degree camera. Rather pricey. Corolla Cross might be even better at same price range model.

turbo charged tapos NA Caco?! haha pero yea, too pricey for me. Chinese brands like GAC and Geely have a lot more to offer, and if comparing Kia/Hyundai to GAC alone, personally I'd go GAC. pero that's just me.

Only SX (1.688M) has Turbo. The rest, LX (1.198M) and EX (1.288M) doesn't have.

My nightmare experience with KIA's long term supply for their vehicles makes this brand a "no thank you" for me. Previous owner of a 2014 KIA Carnival
This is not a facelift (I guess in Philippines it is sold as one) but it actually is a different version of Seltos. Basically there are 3 different versions, SP2 which is the international version and is sold in South Korea, US, Australia etc, then there's SP2i which a smaller variant made for markets like India and other developing nations, then there's SP2c which is the Chinese variant and is the largest of them all with a bigger wheelbase and completely different interior design. Previously, from 2019 - 2023, Philippines used to get the international variant (SP2), now after 2023 they have introduced the Chinese variant (SP2c) in Philippines. That's why it feels bigger and visually different.
Hence the panoramic sunroof, smaller engine, DCT and Adaptive Cruise, but it probably has a 360 camera in China so they stripped that out to make it more affordable here. It should be cheaper here because of the reduction in taxes and duties on 1.5L and smaller engines coming from China to the Philippines.
@@tlevans62 Yes it should be cheaper but like I said, the Chinese version is bigger than the other two with a better interior, so it has more and expensive materials used in it, making it much more expensive.
However, other Chinese cars sold here with more features and just as big, have prices around 1.3 million PHP, not 1.7... That's the problem. Too much competition at lower prices here so it won't do well in the market, at least the top variant won't. Kia and Hyundai in the Philippines have struggled due to high prices and lack of features, this one has some nice features, but the price is too high for the market.

Ford Territory first Gen here, was 1.3 with three years free service. Chery Tiggo 8 Pro was just over 1.3 with the same features. That's an even larger vehicle.
I’m sorry what? As Sir Caco stated it is a “TURBO” but once he started describing the engine specs and details he now says “it is a 1.4 liter Naturally Aspirated engine” what? So what is it a turbo or a Naturally aspirated one?

It's 1.4L Turbo. The 2 lower end ones are 1.5L naturally aspirated.
The Honda HRV looks better but this is more of Bang for the buck 👌🏼
Honestly it has features that I think are great but it ain't necessary. The Toyota cross has got better practical features in terms of hybrid and also got cameras. I totally love the kia design but for it's price, I am not satisfied.

This facelifted Kia Seltos is manufactured in China, replacing the Korean made original model sold here before.
Price is brutal for 1.7M making this model DOA in the Philippines

This is a Corolla Cross and WR-V competitor. And this has features that the HRV lacks.
