Another highly requested TOOL cover, finally here! I started recording the overdub guitar off-screen here. It saves a lot of extra recording and editing that doesn't really make sense for just some overdubs.

Absolutely. I have been hooked on this song for the last 2 weeks like crazy. Listening to it over and over and over again. This is why nothing comes close to Tool, at least for me. You can be mesmerized by any of their songs at any given point in time and just get lost in it. I have been a fan for 20 years and never looked back once I found them. I wish for everybody to find something in their life, be it music or anything else, to give them the feeling I and many people around the globe have while listening toTool. A journey indeed.
A whole Tool discography eventually on this channel, would be so amazing. These have been the most accurate tabs I’ve seen
This channel and TOOL alone have completely reignited my love for guitar. So thankful for TOOL and amazing fans like Max.

I love how accurate your tabs always are. I Doubt he uses fuzz though. Maybe on the album, but live he only rolls off the tone knob.

Great video and playing Max! Do you emulate your pedals with the kemper as well? Is it a preset with them on and preset with them off etc? or do you have control to toggle the pedals during the preset? Just curious :)
Thank you! I have presets for different gain settings, but the pedals are seperate stomps in the Kemper that I’m toggling if needed :)

Love the video bro, I do have a question tho. Do I pick the sliding notes? For example after you hit the open d and slide from 3 to 12 do I strum when I fret the 3? New player so I’m trying to figure out tabs lmao

All goo except Adam plays all the notes on E string!!! He almost always using this technique.

yo how do you feel about your les paul, just ordered an gibson les paul standard 60s and feeling nervous about it lmao. Considering all the bad rep gibson has had about their qc and such.
I’m personally very happy with the guitar. Coming from my previous guitars, the quality is astounding. In my experience most guitars above the 1.200$ mark are very well made. I would say though, that anything above 1.200$ is more of a cosmetic defined price tag and won’t alter the sound much. At least that is my experience. Also, single bodied guitars are prone to break if not handled with care - no matter the price tag. Hope that gives you comfort and have fun with your guitar! 🤘🏼
